it took me about 4 trys and every time there was 2 seconds left and the last spartan got stuck on my tank in the middle of the way and i lost and i was about to throw my controller at the tv because i was sick of loosing at that game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty late, I know, but those are tractor beams. The level is called Shield World because the space station the second half of the game takes place on/in is called a Shield World. The purpose being, inside it you're safe from the halo rings firing. Yeah, I'm geeking out here but you guys are the one making a guide to playing the game. Otherwise nice video.

It's called shield world because the outside of the planet is a shield. Those four things are tractor beams, like, the opposite of a really big grav lift.

but if you rescue alpha team u get a grizzly and those can only help cuz they coun t as 3 tanks

Just get lots of wolverines with volley, and lots of scorpions with canister shell. Go to the spartans first, let them jack your wolverines, and keep sending in scorpions if they die. and get at least 3 if not 4 of the pylons
