Great plane, great flying, nicely done video.......one of the best! I like the slower scale like airspeed. Hate those 400 mph models. I'm building a Ziroli plan '87' of about the same size. Think I'll copy some of your detail! I use a lot of lithoplate to simulate the panels. Happy flying!
@XOBubba Thank you for your kind comments. Glad for being a reference, too. My panels were done by carving resin and fiber glass cover with a diamond tool cut. Easier and faster with a good finishing.
@loh1110 I usually fly it at Zaragoza (Spain). Very close to 22st FAI World Championship, class F4C, Spain 2012, from 3th August to 12th August. It will be worth to visit us.
I model airplanes virtaully for teh flight sim ''il2 sturmovik'', although this is one of the most beautiful rc planesi have seen, and flown very nice.
Too bad the plane doesn't "scream" upon dive n shame on Hollywood for stealing that noise by putting it on all warbirds when they dive bomb in their WW2 films.
What a beautiful plane!!! As for the negative comments, I'm not surprised for them, but it is moronic... I just looked at another beautiful model of a B-17 and didn't see anyone from Dresden commenting on how evil that airplane was... I am a proud American, but I think my favorite plane of WWII has to be the FW 190, was a bad-ass piece of machinery!
@neominois Thanks for your comments. FW 190 was an awesome plane too. Nowadays I am building a 146'' (3700 mm) wingspan Lockheed P-38 "Lightning" (american plane indeed!!). Of course, plan designed by CAD from my self and fully handcrafted. That's my way to understand aeromodelling and my love for aircrafts.
@campamental.. Even if your model did not fly it still look's AWSOME....The atention to detail on it is astounding. How long did it take from start to finish.
PS: Think ther pilot & co-pilot need a shave. Ha, ha...
@norm7446 The model is still flying and diving up to date. Thank you for your comment. Because the plan and building are self-made, it took me five long years to finish. But it is worth, believe me.
@scalerc Thank you for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed my model. Even though is the same scale size than Ziroli's, my Stuka is built from a personal plan with foam-made wings and real dimensions. So I am going to detail your questions:
Centre of gravity is 155 mm away from leading edge at karman transition. My model's weight is 13.500 Kg. The three blade propeller is a Menz 20 x 12 and I really used a 4 cm hand-made allu prop extension to get real nose scale.
@soultaker352 Thank you for your comments. I'm afraid it is not. Ju 87 G-1 was a more advanced Stuka with another cockpit and cowl frame, radiator engine down wing planes and a lot of more differences.
You've got to be kidding me!? Are you the hands-down King of all model building or what? I mean, I thought I was world-class but man, you are the absolute, undisputed KING! What an awesome build! Way to go man!
What an amazingly impressive model. This model is not only a SUPERB work of art and craftsmanship, it is a constant reminder to us all that we should not forget the past but learn from it.
To the few folks who posted negative comments because of what the plane was used BY MEN to do, think of this a history lesson. The plane was simply a tool, like jeeps and tanks, it's men that make decisions.
Amazing video, very nicely put together. Thanks for sharing it.
@justlostagain Thank you for your comment. I am quite agree with your second paragraph. This is aeromodelling way of life (science, art and a lot of patience)
Enorme! Maravilloso! El JU 87 fué desde pequeño mi primer amor, antes de las niñas incluso! Es una lástima que esteis nada más que cruzando el Atlántico para poder verlo volar en persona. Quién sabe, tal vez uno de estos días. Enhorabuena! No olvideis mostrarnos los últimos proyectos!
damn thats nice! words cant express how detailed that is.....im speechless.....and the crazy thing is that you pushed it too........damn id be like "okay its off the ground......lets bring her round for a landing hahhaha"
@brokendoberman Yes. We enjoy aircraft, even they got used to bomb and kill, they are beautifull. Plus i think the stukas never bombed Guernica, i searched it and it did not appear. If we all had to see with evil eyes the enemy planes...
I wouldnt have flown it. Its way too pretty and if I ever crashed something that beautiful I would probably strap myself to a rocket with no parachute.
Wonderful video, the music is wonderful and as the video presents itself, it is perfectly timed. The Aircraft really looks sharp and the video really highlights various aspects of flight from the preparations through the flight and ultimately the landing. Very well done, I hope you present other videos very soon, I would like to subscribe if your videos are all this good or similar in nature.. Thanks Again Gianni
Thank you for flying your stuka model (beautiful to see one in the sky) Also thanks for flying her at a scale speed. Video this in black and white, add a touch of grain and it would pass easy as "new unseen" stuka footage!! Outstanding !!!

Greetings from Australia,
Fantastic aircraft, beautifully modelled and flown. So nice to see an accurate looking scale Stuka.
I am designing the same model at 1:5.4 currently. Can you please advise the:
Centre of Gravity location?
The models weight?
The propeller size and brand?
Did you use a prop extension on the G62 to get the cylinder back far enough inside the radiator area?
Thank you again. Very inspiring model and excellent video clip.
