hey can you help me fix my kotor glitch on the pc when i save my game and exit the game completely it doesnt show up in load or in the saves file please help
@roguegamer902 im sorry i don't know why its doing that.But i have a newer version of this video i put it as an annotation. if you cant click it just go to my channel and watch my "kotor 1 on windows 7(NEW)" video.
@xCrumDogx make sure to click the icon once so it becomes highlighted than when you left click the highlighted icon it should show the compatibility tab.
If you do all this in the video and kotor is still not working and crashing to desktop, try updating your graphic's card to the latest drivers, worked for me.
Hey man listen.i so much love this game and I played before four months ago and now i downloaded her and install and she does't work.Well I was so pissed of and I unistall game I delete her from program files and when I go to control panel to unistall her there there was a problem.I cant to uninstall her, there was an error where was wrote"Uninstall encourtened an error and cannot proceed.Please contact tehnical support" And the same thing when I want to install her.Please man tell me what to do

@bluespy4 i just read that most of old games are compatible with 32 bit W7 but not with 64 bit...mabe i should try that...i'm also trying to get LotR RorWK working...but it wont....i do have a 64 bit win7..should i try with 32 bit?
@liamjd1 Ya i get those random sounds too and they are loud so while im into the game it does that and it makes me jump out of my seat lol. And on the old white 360 the game would lag a lot during combat and it would sometimes lag during gameplay. On the slim 360 250gb the lagging and glitching is less but the random sounds are louder and occur more often.
I have a little problem I did everything you said to do in the video but the game still starts in full screen and then crashes after the bioware logo. Please Help, thank you.

@spuderito1 Heres what you do: 1.open your kotor 1 folder. 2.right click the swkotor configuration settings file and click properties. 3. go to the security tab 5. Your going to change the permission for the names under the section "groups or usernames". 6.Click the "edit" option in the middle and for all of the names and usernames click the boxes that are under the word "allow". 7.now you can change whatever you want in the notepad and than save the changes you made without getting an error.

@PrOdIgAlTiMmEh I was messing around with my screen recorder to make the video quality better so i put the quality on max. But now i know that max makes my vids lag even though im not lagging on my pc. I use camstudio to record my screen its a really good free screen recorder. I use that to record all my pc vids.
It doesnt work im doing exactly as it says in the video but i cant find swkotor only swinfo, and the game only runs for 5 minutes then the picture freezes, please help
@123warmaker to find your game file on your computer follow these steps: 1.Go to the start menu(the circle blue thing on the bottom left corner. 2.click "computer" 3. click on your hard drive to view whats inside it. 4.scroll down untill you see the folder that says "program files" than open it 5.scroll down untill you see the folder named "lucasArts" and open it 6.Now open the folder named "SWkotOR"
@molotovCOCKTAIL553 Is yours a crack or the real game? if its a crack than you should try finding a different one. Maybe the one you downloaded was a set in chinese. And ive noticed that to get passed the ship you need to try and turn off any other programs running because some things will not let you run the game. For me wegame the game recorder doesnt let me run my game.
@molotovCOCKTAIL553 and it also depends on if your computer can handle the game. If your graphics card is not a nvidia card(my card isnt a nvidia card) than it also may not let you play because kotor 1 has problems with other cards.
@Ghorn13 If u have wegame the game recorder on turn that off and it should work. If thats not the problem than double check your settings and make sure its on 800 x 600 for the resolution and that v-sync is off and the texture is set to low.Are you sure you did everything that i did in the video?
@Ghorn13 if that doesnt work than you might be running the game 2 times and it wont let you start it again. Go to your task manager(ctrl+alt+delete) than go to the processes section and try to find the game than right click and hit end process than try running it again.
please help when i go to write in allowwindowed whatever it wont let me save the changes!!

@MrVesa92 ive heard that too but my laptop is a 64 bit and it has an intel graphics card. This game should work on any upgraded gaming pc.
