i would only point out that the opabinia's appendage opened laterally, rather than dorsoventrally (it should be rotated 90 degree) and with lateral "fins", i highly doubt it would move like that. the sinusoid movement of them was actually how it would rather propel itself through water, just think about it, when undulating sideways it would have too little surface to push against water and would be a sluggish swimmer, an easy prey. to want to be original at all costs is not the best thing always
@stuchly1 true..but to believe all these things as "fact" is a little niave too. The scientist are quite honest about having to be "imaginative" and "creative" as there is still not enough evidence to support the fuil science of this time. So creativity to a point is acceptable. hell going forward in time people are still debating things like the t-rex. I think you will find many of these "facts" being ammended over time.
@StormsfuryDOTcom naturally. i want to point out one thing. we'll never know it completely sure. i am just saying the opabinia's appendage isn't created in line with fossil record. do you try to say that following fossil record would be wrong this time, and when an animal has fins, do you think it would move in such kind of way it couldn't/didn't have to use them? this is nothing more than common sense. ;-) i am not blaming anyone, i am just sharing my observations ;-)
Neat. A massive gyration of energy swirling round together. Evolution is such a scam. The earth is being terraformed. Pure dominance of chemistry and genetic engineering.
Thank you for the upload! For some reason, I am really fascinated by prehistoric earth. I immediately noticed my favorite ancient class of animal, trilobite, on the seabed. I will visit the link your video provided at the end.
AHHH... The Cambrian Period... Those were the days... We were poor but we were happy.

I was worried you were going to leave out Anomalocaris. I'm glad you got it in there. :) Nice video!

@elazar79 If the person reading your comment is a deist, the battle between the two is nothing more than a false dichotomy.
