@2strokedetroit You need take note that the "Killer Ignition" was an HEI (High Energy) pumping out a great deal more volts (40-50KV) than a standard one(18KV)...& WAY more than a 6 volt electrical system, flat head, arrangement. I was a diesel mechanic for a Chicago trucking company for most of '62...have fond memories of the Cummins powerplants which we had.

Had a fellow mechanic do that with a HEI Ford Truck. It stopped his heart...it's still stopped or so I hope, as we buried him 16 yrs. ago.
