@InertiaWoods Yes the running scenes are a pain in my ass, I tried to take my time and enjoy the story and atmosphere all until I had to run. I hid in a closet and got out and ran past a pool, didn't even notice the fucking flare and by the time that happened  I was "Dead". That's aggrivating but homecoming is more aggrivating because after fighting scarlet I walked outside and didn't have any health packs left(thanks to the smog in that level)there was 5 convienantly placed ferals...

i have played the game but ti's just realy been a long time... to prove it i know that if you die in the hospital stage you go to a scene where you are dragged away by a doctor. Also if you beat the game on the hardest difficulty you get a useless health bar... I can also name couple of creatures, ther is the pendelum, insane cancer. my ending to this games was were heather pretends to kill the man thats been pusuing her the whole game and that you start in the carnival in the beggining.

@mrbubbles234 Nah, it's just the memory of Alessa (not Alessa herself) trying to kill Heather so she can have a more peaceful death, than the death she would have if she successfully birthed the God. As you can see with Claudia later on, the death was painful and very unpleasant. It's a reflection of how Alessa wanted to die before she could birth the god when she was in the hospital basement all those years ago.
