  • Does anyone have the original breakbeat mix of this track(at least i think its the original)? I had it on this old vinyl that had fruit of Love on one side and Security and Chuck Roberts 'My House' speech from Fingers Inc on the other side. It was just a plain orange/yellow sticker on both sides of the record. Someone PLEASE post THAT version of Fruit of Love. Its the best mix by FAR

  • I've got it. As far as I'm concerned.. it's the ONLY version. Gimme a day or so to dig it out and I'll make sure ya get it. :)

  • yES! I knew someone would know what the heck I was talking about. Thanks

  • Any luck so far?

  • I have the original CD from '92 with the 10 mixes.

  • are any of those ten mixes you have not on youtube?

  • I'll upload my fav in a week or so.

  • right on, thanks. The version I've been searching for doesn't have a bassline in the first 60-90 seconds. The intro is just a few notes and some vocals. It was always tough to mix into but when you nailed it, it was a crowd-pleaser. I love it when the breakbeat/bassline kicks in right at the end of the intro. Claaaaasic

  • I've posted the original... check it out.

  • what emoperor said

  • The Instramental was the best.. The vocals killed it.

  • i believe the lyrics are really spot on; but if you would like a lyric less version then so be it; its a cool track no matter what; maybe a non vocal track for all of us djs to mix into a set. again i just love this song any way i can get it. pure brilliance.

  • Thanks for posting this, brings back many happy memories of Venue 44 in Mansfield!
