  • Thank you I was looking all over for the technique that looks most like knitted instead of the crochet. Very nice. Happy looming.

  • so you are just skipping every other peg then when you go the second time around put the strings what you missed?? i am confused thats just a drinking straw like from fast food place???

  • @Stephy27Pooh Yes, it is just a common drinking straw. We prefer the thinner straws because they can be used on all the looms including the small blue loom. Some drinking straws are too fat for the blue loom. Never use a clear straw! Yes, I am just weaving in and out of the pegs then weaving the yarn around the unwrapped peg. We've made a beautiful blanket with this stitch. I will post a picture of it when it is assembled. Jo Ann

  • Thanks RMK! The thick handle tool can be found in an interchangable crochet hook kit by Provo Craft. It is in a purple case with a zipper. I use mine all the time. I also crochet so the rest of the kit is useful too. Don't forget your coupons when you go to buy it.

  • Great video. Good idea using the straw method! Thanks! I'm looking for a thick handle hook since I have arthritis in my hands.
