I emphatically believe that Resident Evil 5, while not scary, was FUN. I had a ton of great experiences with the game, even with the Sheva AI, which wasn't even that bad.
You lot who hated RE5 can blame Shinji Mikami because he left CAPCOM and the Resident Evil development team for the most pathetic reason ever, therefore that means in turn it's his fault for completely ruining the Resident Evil series...I did love Resident Evil 5 and 4 though because I'm a true Resident Evil fan and accept all Resident Evil's no matter what content they contained, Resident Evil Revelations was the 2nd best Resident Evil I ever played, so they showed they can do it without him...
I couldn't even stand playing RE4, and I didn't even bother trying RE5...those two games aren't simply...scary, to be called, not only survival horror games, but RESIDENT EVIL on their own right. I kinda agree that they brought a fresh air to the series with them, but totally neglected it's hardcore fanbase...everyone's completely into fps and action games now, and has been like that for at least 8 years, that's why you shouldn't carelessly dump a classic like this series to a simple actionfest

You can have modern controls and still be scary. Look at Dead Space! Clunky controls just can't work anymore now that we have proven examples like that. I will be first to admit, I miss the more challenging puzzles, but I'm confident that will be addressed in RE6, if the Twitter page is telling the truth. If RE "died" for you, then you should die with it... trust me, the rest of the world wishes you would.

When I looked at Resident Evil 4 from the trailers I started not to like Resident Evil again. I've always like it to be original and for Capcom to make RE2 as they did RE1 and RE0 from a "remake" way. But instead, the came out with RE2 on Gamecube as it was the same as it was on PS1 so they can have time to make RE4.

Am I the only resident evil fan that Loved RE5?? Sure it wasn't scary, but it was a shit ton of fun when you played co-op. I completed it like 5 times, got all the best weapons and upgraded them to max. It's so fun going through it with infinite hand cannon and rpg ammo and blowing the fuck out of everything.

Man the footage of re5 before it released looks way better. I love the game its awesome but in the old footage it shows you and your partner against SHITLOADS of zombies/enemies. Should have kept it like that. Would have made it actually a bit scary lol.

god i hated dead rising 1 whenever i hit a zombie the game drop its framerate and pretty much pause for a second it was annoying early in the game you would die so often 4 health and if a zombie grabs you you always lose 1 health dumbass ai that even hit me somtimes made the game evn harder and OMG STFU U OLD JANINITOR GOD!!!! it was difficult and that slow down was annoying i could see why people love it though lots of zombies and lots of weapons im not trolling i just didnt like it
Even though re5 wasn't that scary, it is still an amazing game. The graphics and replay value were crazy for that time, specially the cutscenes. I remember constantly watching the cutscenes on YouTube because they looked so damn good.

RE 5 is really not horror. At all. RE 4 was partly scary until you had to protect Ashley otherwise known as the cube of jell-o that everyone wants that you need to keep. (Ashley had terrible defense and got kidnapped if you tried to leave her somewhere while you do important things. When I get the 3DS,I will be getting Revelations and Mercenaries 3D,Revelations because I hear it's actual horror and Mercenaries 3D for my competitive zombie killing fun.

bought resident evil 2 on psn awhile backa for 2.99 i was surprised, of course i went back and looked later it's back to 5.99 which still isn't a bad price for what your getting. all these younger kids, who only know the newer games, look up resident evil 1 2 and 3. for me it's reliving my childhood for yall it'd be a scary adventuous for the first time, may not have the best graphics but scarier then re 4 and 5

re5 was a very fun game...but story and horror was so weak and terrible its hard to call it a resident evil game which i came to love. i found the dlc with the mansion was scarier than the entire game ( thats sad). if they made re5 more like that i wouldve liked alot more. though they completely fucked over the story
I want them to do one of these history series for, say, Final Fantasy...which could spawn off into Kingdom Hearts possibly but that's optional (although I'm a much stronger KH fan than FF). Final Fantasy too has been around about as long as RE so it'd be a lot to cover and interesting to just watch something about it's history.
i have been playing RE5 since it released, and i STILL play it today, almost every day actually , i mainly play Team Slayers now, but it has more of a "OMG i'm gonna Die" feeling that a "that scared the shit out of me" scary, i love RE and will allways love RE

5 was just terrible. No offense That's my opinion. But I think I know why I believe this. I'm still fascinated an stuck on re4. It was so intriguing even till now. I was expecting that same concept in 5 but from the moment I played the demo I knew I was gonna be disappointed. It jus felt fake an dull to me. An co-op took out the horror aspect. All the big creatures an bosses couldn't cover that up.
CAPCOM fuck up with Makimi he was the head,the boss now what I still bought RE 5 hoping it will be better than RE 4 too much action and not so much horror I think i will buy dead space 2

Dead Rising was the first game I got on 360, and now it and DR2 are two of my favourite games of all time. I just enjoyed them more then RE.

god i hated dead rising 1 whenever i hit a zombie the game drop its framerate and pretty much pause for a second it was annoying early in the game you would die so often 4 health and if a zombie grabs you you always lose 1 health dumbass ai that even hit me somtimes made the game evn harder and OMG STFU U OLD JANINITOR GOD!!!! it was difficult and that slow down was annoying i could see why people love it though lots of zombies and lots of weapons im not trolling i just didnt like it

Even though re5 wasn't that scary, it is still an amazing game. The graphics and replay value were crazy for that time, specially the cutscenes. I remember constantly watching the cutscenes on YouTube because they looked so damn good.

RE 5 is really not horror. At all. RE 4 was partly scary until you had to protect Ashley otherwise known as the cube of jell-o that everyone wants that you need to keep. (Ashley had terrible defense and got kidnapped if you tried to leave her somewhere while you do important things. When I get the 3DS,I will be getting Revelations and Mercenaries 3D,Revelations because I hear it's actual horror and Mercenaries 3D for my competitive zombie killing fun.

bought resident evil 2 on psn awhile backa for 2.99 i was surprised, of course i went back and looked later it's back to 5.99 which still isn't a bad price for what your getting. all these younger kids, who only know the newer games, look up resident evil 1 2 and 3. for me it's reliving my childhood for yall it'd be a scary adventuous for the first time, may not have the best graphics but scarier then re 4 and 5

re5 was a very fun game...but story and horror was so weak and terrible its hard to call it a resident evil game which i came to love. i found the dlc with the mansion was scarier than the entire game ( thats sad). if they made re5 more like that i wouldve liked alot more. though they completely fucked over the story

I want them to do one of these history series for, say, Final Fantasy...which could spawn off into Kingdom Hearts possibly but that's optional (although I'm a much stronger KH fan than FF). Final Fantasy too has been around about as long as RE so it'd be a lot to cover and interesting to just watch something about it's history.

5 was just terrible. No offense That's my opinion. But I think I know why I believe this. I'm still fascinated an stuck on re4. It was so intriguing even till now. I was expecting that same concept in 5 but from the moment I played the demo I knew I was gonna be disappointed. It jus felt fake an dull to me. An co-op took out the horror aspect. All the big creatures an bosses couldn't cover that up.
