I thought this was one of the best Disney sequels. The animation is good, story is good and it's developed. Unlike other sequels (need an example? Check out the diff between Hunchback of Notre Dame and the crappy sequel). I enjoyed this movie, not as good as the original but it was really good!
This sequel definitely added to the first movie. Even in the original story, Cinderella wasn't a distressed damsel waiting for somebody to come and save her from the wicked witch. Thus, I absolutely can see Cinderella in a strong position. And not only that, she is the one who saves the prince, not the other way around, therefore proving her worth as the kingdom's future queen. (Unless the prince has an older brother...)
This song is about how much you love someone.Cinderella didn't give up because she knew that love can break anything bad that may happen.And the prince didn't know who Cinderella really was, but i think, deep down inside, he knew he loved Cinderella.And Cinderella knew that too.

And you were right, I was trying to make a video not only for the ones who watched the movie and wanted to see more about it, but for those who has not watched it also, so I did not want to give away the whole magic about the story so people could be surprised just as I did.
Great video great movie, I'm sorry if what i'm gonna say will probabily give to some of you a shock but I'd rather this movie to the first one (exept I found bad that they forget bruno (it's is name in english I think and the other mice) I think it gives the prince more personality (but i have to admit that the story remind me a bit of the little mermaid) besides thanks to this movie I like more Cinderella than before ( I hated her) and I even can support to watch the first one now ^^

thats wat i like about it as well - makes a differece from the princess always being a damsel in distress - true, other disney princesses aren't either and she still get's saved by the prince - but she has to work to get her prince rather than her prince instantly fallin for her and happy ever after.

Cinderella is a lot tougher, braver, and smarter in this one and you can actually feel the romance colliding again! This one is so much better than the original one! Has more emotion than the original one too! So C3 rocks!!! x3
but the drawing is nth like the first one. the first has better illustration & this cinderella looks kinda old, the prince looks kinda weird too. no offence. i still like the first one better.
Yeah I agree on the artwork at some parts, but the only reason why I don't like the first one was because they made Cinderella too fragile.
But it's not like C3 isn't bad as well...I mean like I said she was fragile...but after she sang a song Cinderella all of a sudden became very...assertive...so both aren't as good, but not as bad...^_^

well, Disney happens to twist stories sometimes. In the real story, she may be called Ella, but in the Disney version, they call her cinderelly or cinderella, despite what her 'real' name is.
No Really??? I know that they twist stories around. Most stories have evolved. The first Cinderella story originated in China. ANYWAY, what I was saying was that I just get so irritated when she calls herself Cinderella because her real name is Ella. Who really wants to be called a name that was made up to bring you down? They only called her Cinderella because that is the title of the film and if she is suddenly called Ella then kids will get confused. It didnt say in the first film that her stepmother called her Cinderella for a nickname
No but in the story where the film came from it does........And kids werent confused than with it. I realize that is why they call her Cinderella, BUT what bugs me is when the prince calls her Cinderellie, and she says thats not her real name, and replies its Cinderella. Actually, in the 1950 film, there is a bit at the beginning with Cinderella as a little girl and she is standing with her father. The narrator says, "Here, in a stately chateau, there lived a widowed gentleman and his little daughter, Cinderella." So, unless that's an error, her real name is Cinderella, not Ella.

Yeah I agree on the artwork at some parts, but the only reason why I don't like the first one was because they made Cinderella too fragile.
But it's not like C3 isn't bad as well...I mean like I said she was fragile...but after she sang a song Cinderella all of a sudden became very...assertive...so both aren't as good, but not as bad...^_^

I saw this movie and wanted to give it a chance, I mean, it's Disney! But i feel that it's sloppy made. It doesnt really have any "details". The old movies had that, and its thoose I love the most! I dont say this movie is bad, I totaly love it, but I miss the "real" movies..

Disney can't make sequels for the life of them, but I think Disney hasn't lost it's touch with movies just yet. Brother Bear (2003) makes me want to cry every time. It's beautiful. The reason they're so bad with sequels and such is that they're just playing the fans, and not really caring what goes into it. But I did think CInderella 3 was fun and much better than many sequels... or thirds, but I still just think of it as an animated Fanfic.

I love this song, the movie is great, definately a good sequel. The only thing that bothers me is when he calls her Cinderellie ans she corrects him and says its Cinderella..... HER NAME IS ELLA!!!! Her stepmother gave her the "nickname" CInderella to be mean. Does no one actually read the original story anymore? Oh its irritating...

well, Disney happens to twist stories sometimes. In the real story, she may be called Ella, but in the Disney version, they call her cinderelly or cinderella, despite what her 'real' name is.

No Really??? I know that they twist stories around. Most stories have evolved. The first Cinderella story originated in China. ANYWAY, what I was saying was that I just get so irritated when she calls herself Cinderella because her real name is Ella. Who really wants to be called a name that was made up to bring you down? Her stepmother and sisters came up with it. I hate disney because if stuff like this. BUT I love them because I am an artist and my style is very similar to theirs.

They only called her Cinderella because that is the title of the film and if she is suddenly called Ella then kids will get confused. It didnt say in the first film that her stepmother called her Cinderella for a nickname

No but in the story where the film came from it does........And kids werent confused than with it. I realize that is why they call her Cinderella, BUT what bugs me is when the prince calls her Cinderellie, and she says thats not her real name, and replies its Cinderella. She should have said ELLA!!!!

Actually, in the 1950 film, there is a bit at the beginning with Cinderella as a little girl and she is standing with her father. The narrator says, "Here, in a stately chateau, there lived a widowed gentleman and his little daughter, Cinderella." So, unless that's an error, her real name is Cinderella, not Ella.
