As with anything, a city is only as good as to what you compare it to. I moved to Hickory from northern New Jersey on September 2nd, 2010. I happen to love it down here! The weather is better than in the north, the people are much friendlier, and above all, Jesus Christ is very much honored! You can believe what you want, but I FIRMLY believe that God blesses an "environment" to the degree that His Son is esteemed and revered! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
