  • Israel is at the forefront of pushing an paying for multi-ethnic immigration for all Western Nations---but not for Israel. Israel is its own moral standard, unanswerable to any other international law.

  • A good man, who got it all wrong

  • President Carter was one of the best presidents in U.S. history

  • I love President Carter...He was great!!!

  • And also didn't he help hugo chavez into office...

  • jimmy carter you have been one of the worst president of american history!

  • Tavis Smiley is a fraud

  • Carter was the best Prez, and guess what it was AIPAC and their goals for fascist Empire that diminished this great American by using their stranglehold on media and film. and the Federal Reserve, Hey my crazy thought right?

  • Carter's problem is that he is an honorable man who tried to change a system that is based on greed, self-interest and the power of the lobby. Bush has appealed to the worst instincts of his supporters, disregarded the needs and interests of those who oppose him (New Orleans anyone?) and will go down in history as one of the worst presidents that an ignorant public has ever brought into high office. Regarding Reagan, even Grant had fewer people convicted of malfeasance in office than Reagan.

  • Amen.

  • He,s good man indeed but how can you promote peace and freedom without ,,flexing any muscles".It wont work.Ideal but a non-sense.

  • Although I do believe the USA should remain strong and always have military might, this whole thing about flexing muscles is no good. What has it gotten us over the last 7 years of war? We do need to start using our leadership in other ways besides threatening everyone with an ass kicking.

  • Reagan and Carter were and are both good men. Right now President Carter is 100% right, we need a 180 from most of Bush's policies. 71% of US citizens beleie the country is headed in the wrong direction, and Bush's approval rating back up this thinking. Go Obama!

  • Go Obama? Are you nuts? He,s a infatuated novice. Are you willing to pay him millions in presidencial pension and expenditures after his term? For the rest of his life? He,s too young.Think about it.Millions!!!!

  • thank u

  • George Bush is the worst president EVER! Believe that. Vote Obama '08

  • A decent honourable American politican, no wonder the right hate this 'unpatrotic old man'. I wish their were more like him.

  • Jimmy Carter is one of the worst, if not the worst President we will ever see in our lifetime. He weakened America, and thank goodness President Reagan brought us back. "Tear down that wall". God Bless America.

  • carter is one of the few decent politicians these days!

  • Jimmy Carter '08.

  • A good man-period.

  • thankyou pbs!

  • Do you here that Obama!

  • Well Said...President Carter, Well Said!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the only ex-President still involved in Humanitarian Causes.

  • This sound very good but as a soldier I have a problem with some of the thing President Carter is talking about. It all sounds good and some of things he is talking about can happen but this is not reality and how can you put rules on war when the other side is not playing by these rules??? I'm not saying this can't happen because it can (over time). Thank you for sharing this with me.

    John

  • JMHamilton, the purpose stated for this so called 'just war' was to bring liberal democracy to the middle east. In lowering the bar to that of your opponets you defeat the object of the conflict in which you are engaged. If winning at any cost is your end game then I fear for the 21century and future conflicts and those civilians and combatants involved.
