@Danoftouni It doesn't matter where the controller came from, it should work on all regions. I bought a Japan PS3 controller 3 years ago and it worked on my US PS3 just fine.

@Danoftouni Just be wary of the voltage difference for Japanese PS3s. I think Japan uses 100 volts and Europe uses 220 volts. I think all PS3s are compatible with all voltage regions (check the label for 100-240 volts) but they just use a different plug.
