...Just cause you can get up and play your material doesnt mean anything, that just means that hes familiar, and comfortable with his material but also thats hes been playing for a while. But still...that doesnt make you the best, i dont see him dropping improvised solos on EVERY song at EVERY show like the greats such as Jimi Hendrix and Tom Morello. HONESTLY...hes not like...blows me away. Like i said, the GREATS are hittin solos. Like tom morello and Jimi they are hittin solos like EVERY song and they are different each performance atleast i KNO thats the case with morello.

The big interest i have n Wes is his stage performance, the way i play (on bass tho) is really influenced by him. But, check his eyes and when the complex parts come up that are crazy on the frets...hes mellowing out and keepin his eyes on the frets. COrrect ;-)?

Im a musician and lyricist. I have been messing with music for a while as a percussionist and I play bass, to improvise like that on a guitar you have to be familar as hell because you just dont hit any note because the note will make any sound. You have to be truely excelled in music/music theory and know what every note sounds like b4 you get up there and start rockin yah ass off. An have you noticed, even tho Wes was gettin up, his eyes never strayed far from the frets at all times ;-)

Morello is'nt that good a guitarist you say he's one of the best but he's not, granted he's experimental but all in all he's just another blues guitarist. All his songs are written on the blues and pentatonic scales.
