  • Fantastic

  • #LOL Hehehe I don't know why but I think that Marc looks like Tintin (remember Hergé's character?) in this video.

  • who said electronic music has to be serious, self-conscient and empty...? look at this! this is the opposite! marc moulin and you guys from telex you are dearly missed! we need some alternative! :)

  • I love Telex and this is some serious business on the video work woah easy Belgium

Lots of love from London XXX

  • how many cigars did marc smoke? was it a multi-day thing? just like me and cigs, i need to smoke to be creative.

  • how many cigars did marc smoke? was it a multi-day thing?

  • I love the way how their timing is intentionally bad. It looks like the video is made out of outtakes lol.

  • Grandissimi. Ciao, Marc - R.I.P.

  • Classic.

  • dad i told you not to touch my synthesizer

  • @Ghostmonsters hahahahahaaha!

  • LOVE IT, They were so ahead of their time!

  • "Seconds never stop"

    :-)>>>>

  • love it!!! We are all getting ooooooooooold

  • i love it.

  • RIP Marc Moulin- he did get old!

  • Yes...but I met Him.

  • Una de las mejores bandas de la historia. Absolutamente subvaluadas e incomprendidas. Enormemente brillantes

  • This song is awesome and the video can't be better. So sad, so full of fun... all at once! The surprisingly long shot of them seated in a chair - in my opinion, the best one in all history of musical clips - is the pure image of the resignation, the acceptance of the facts, while the music, full of rhythm, doesn't stop: We are all getting old! All mixed together, instead of depressing me, makes me feel happy, optimistic, to love the live.

Telex were (are) great, too great.

  • Thoughtful comments, florencisalesas.

  • Couldn't have said it better! :-)

  • Great song

  • Terrific! I can't believe they weren't HUGE...

  • They are...In our hearts. Only the privileged :)

  • Sadly enough, Marc Moulin will never get very old anymore ... Indeed RIP :-(

  • Yes. But he was part of creating something that won't be getting old. That weighs up for him leaving this planet prematurely.

Rest in Peace... and synth beats.

  • rip marc moulin! we will not forget you.

  • My Favorite!!!

  • 2:12... Awesome!!!

  • They're a lot older now.

  • Yeah, 28 years older to be precise. LOL

  • Yep, keen precision.

Also, getting older is not bad. It's the gift for not having died.

    ;)

  • they look tired and bored

  • You've got it! Bingo! Doncha just love it? "We are all getting old."

  • I love the leader, that face...!

  • Telex was a really hit-and-miss band. They had some really brilliant songs (like this one) and they made some really awful stuff, too. Thanks for posting this!

  • True. It seems to me my least favorite of their approaches was to slow down cover songs. Their snappier paced songs were my favorite.

  • @karnubawax

It is down to a matter of opinion of course, but I think that Telex never made a bad track.

  • I have a dream,,TELEX united for a new cd-album =;o)) oh..I miss the good old days 1980--1986..

  • they did one 2006.

  • My dream has been fulfilled! On the road again! Well..it´s a terrific CD! But my absolutely favourite is "Neurovision" +"Wonderful world"..much better than the new one..

  • Extremely rare video and great song! Quality moog danceable tunes are scarce these days...

  • "Dance to it or die"...you guys are fun on a stick. PS : I did so I won't.

  • Boy I can dance to this!... Thanks for posting this song yaoysan. As a 16 year "getting old" futurist I loved this sound. Telex, please make some 2040 songs for us now...(perhaps using physical modeling). BTW, Syntpop, we can thank Wendy Carlos and Robert Moog (kinda, Gods) for syths and vocoders.

  • geniuses

  • Pure vocoder and modular sequencers from 1980 all analogical technology...

  • Sennheiser Vocoder VSM201!!

  • Yay, we are all getting old!

  • They like, made the music of 2010, in 1980!

  • Super! THANKS! Kraftwerk and these guys made the sound!!! Well, Yellow Magic was good too.

  • fantastique!

  • Thank oh God for the synthesizer+vocoder :o)

  • Sennheiser Vocoder VSM201!!

  • Masterpiece:)

  • How fantastic is this?

    Extremely.

    Thanks for putting it up.

    :)
