i can do this serve but i can't do it after tossing the ball to high most of my serves will turn into heavy sidespin but sometimes they return from back

any tips... to be more consistent

ghost serve bounces back towards the net when it lands on the opponent's side. you could do a ghost serve from any service style (maybe not tomahawk), as long as you could manage to generate the needed spin. lol, ma lin won gold in men's singles at the 2008 olympics, and is currently ranked #7 in the world (on decline, sadly). he is kind of a big deal in table tennis. :)

First of all, your serve should be like his and start spinning, if it doesn't then your serve doesn't have that much spin and second its not that great to serve short because the oppenent can flip your serve easily so you should serve it in a reasonable distance, not too long so they drive it and not too short so they flip just medium. But nice serve.

Im sorry but im going to tell you about these intermediate serves, from begining i believe that you backspin is dramatically stupid. if you want more back spin slightly tap the ball as it comes onto your bat with great timing you can achieve the greatest backspins within you achievements.

1. his serves have so much spin and are so short ur opponent can´t make a top spin and they will have much problems to play the ball over the net cause of his spin.

This serving is over basic level. Basic level serving wouldn't have this amount of backspin of there serve this is more advance level of serving also hes way of knowing different spins to put on the ball if its backspin to topspin he knows more advance serving then basic level

Your backspin's pretty good, but you need some practice on the side spins;especially reverse.

Your spin is okay, mainly the backspin one. But you shouldn't attempt to do the fakes just yet. Overdoing the fakes will make it easier to see that it IS a fake, unless like Ma Lin, you're technique is flawless and the contact is hardly seen. I think you'll get more spin without the fakes, if you concentrate on getting more spin first.

i don't know, based on my experience the spin becomes lesser when you are competing. maybe because of pressure. the situation is much different during practice.

seems like you attempted the thing that ma lin does where after your serve, you try to swing your bat back towards you and then do a topspin motion to fake a topspin serve.
