  • how many years have you need for learn, practise and improve the big big BIG rach3?? I really love this concert since i saw SHINE.

  • @xdjuas I think I spent around 1,5 year.

  • @biokemiker Bravoo!!

  • Jealously looking at your work. Hope I'll be able to concentrate some time as well as you've done. Very well done.

  • Thanks for the practice room bloopers. It's funny but at the same time truthful about what it takes to love a piece of music to the point of bearing such wonderful fruit. Great playing.

  • 6:13

When what I try to play (mostly rachmaninoff :p) doesn't want to get in my fingers.. I sit like that too for a minute ^^ and then it mostly goes better :)

  • where da legato izat

  • great job!

  • simply awesome, your wonderful.

  • like jorge bolet said: this is not an easy piece...........hehe, when r u going to post the rest of the concerto?

  • I will probably post the second movement within 2-3 weeks

  • and the 3rd mov?? i liked how u played the first two movs.

  • Yes, Im practising now. But it may take a while because Im not a professional pianist and only play as my hobby:) Thanks for viewing

  • I watched all 3 of these and a really enjoyed everyone of them. All of the pieces that were taken from the movie Shine were spot on and gave me chills. I know it is probably a very easy part for you to play but I really liked 0.46 to 1:20. You play it with such ease. Awesome!

  • fan-tas-tic!

  • Bravo, Johnny! All movements was played excellently. Thanks for sharing!

  • There's only one movement. XD

  • I think she meant all parts

  • Hahaha, I love the bloopers part... not that I enjoy watching people getting frustrated on the piano - but because I know the exact feeling when I can't play something right even though you know what it should be like in your head. It also shows that real tough work is involved in practising! (and people weren't simply born to play).

I'm currently practising La Campenella by Listz and was looking at all the vids on YouTube - and saw even professionals make mistakes - makes me sleep better~

  • both. I am attempting to learn it too. I was wondering how long it took you because it took me a month to learn chopin's fantasie op.66. I would like to see how long it should take me to learn it. plus, you inspire me to keep at it:)

  • It took me around 4 months for the first movement I think. But it took another 2 month to memorize it (It took me around 1 month to learn the cadenza). The second movement took me around 2 months and the third movement is really insanely difficult, it took me around 8 months. But it all depends on how much you play everyday. I usually dont have to much time playing as Im a master student in immunology:) But I usually practice 1 hour everyday.

  • That was wonderful! How long did it take you to learn the whole thing?

  • THank you so much. Do you mean the whole concerto or the whole 1st movement?

  • 后面那一段实在是amazing,可是又不太明白为什么后面要再单独接上一段,呵呵

  • 哈哈。。。那一些是bloopers, 就是我练习的时候,把所有的弹错的都有录下来。

  • Awesome series!!!!!!!! ***** ***** *****

(Of course you wouldn't really kick a piano that way, but it reminded me of my brother when he was in high school. Ond day when he couldn't get his car to run right, he kicked the car and broke his foot.)

  • What can I say - just amazing.

  • I understood it!

    Long time passes.

    And is wonderful; is played.

    Your play is excellent!!!

  • Haha.... yeah, much of the time, usually when you don't want them to happen :)

  • Haha loved those bloopers. They always happen don't they? Just at the worst times too. Absolutely madenning.

I'm certainly looking forward to the grand ending XD Liked that ossia finale!
