My AUG is missing that back plate and it doesnt function well at all without it. does anyone know where I could find one for sale?

@YellowSnowmanful I didn't see what i was looking for. i did see the rubber butt-plate but not the metal gearbox plate that i really need... since posting this i have fasioned a wooden one from a paint stirer and it appears to be doing ok, although occationally i get massive leaks in air pressure due to it not being totally secure to the hopup... oh well, i have a perfectly good SR-15 as my main so i am not too worried about it.

@ablahblah54 no, it goes through one side and is held in place by a clamp like thing just on the inside of the body.

@XGCScrappy haha true... but the saftey doesnt really do much for you anyway... it is very easy to remove and a oain to get back in even if you know what ur doing... i wouldnt bother with it...

when you pull out the plate does it give you the more room to house a 9.6v?

@Acid346 if you pull the bolt back you should see a gear-like wheel. that's the adjustment wheel for the hop up

i accidenly pushed the rear take down pin all the way out is there a trick to get it back in because a black plate came out with it

@BlueFlamingSword1231 The black plate goes under the black take down pin, the is a slot where it lines up, tabs facing down. Then just slide the pin back in.

when i first got my aug i didnt know how it worked and i removed the barrel(just the barrel not the whole assembly)and bbs got all through the gun. now i know how to dissambly it. THX

It must be really easy to swap barrels, considering all you gotta do is push that button. A good idea would to be to buy this and upgrade it, because I don't think the JG internals for the gun are all to good
