ok you deffinatly have the talent for drummin but i have something you might want to think bout. You dont always have to throw in crazy fills and grooves all the time. This song is very basic drumming-wise. It is just as effective to keep the basic rock beat with the hard tom hits. That is one of my biggest pet peeves when people think that to be a good drummer you have to go crazy all the time. Thats not the case!!!

But like i said, you are a very talented drummer! Keep up the good work!!

@littledrummerdude27 first of all, thanks for the compliment! second, i totally agree about alot of fills and stuff...but, i definitely know how to play in the pocket...all my videos on youtube are INTENTIONALLY overplayed...trust me, if this was a recording session, i would not play exactly like this...but you definitely make a good point about people thinking you have to be crazy to be good...that's not always the case...

To me it seems that the people saying things like holding back shows more skill are trying to sound like they know more then they do, sure holding back is important in recordings and live shows, but when just jamming and having fun, going crazy is one of the things that can help you gain new skills and ideas! Keep up the awesome drumming, love the kit!
