HTC Wildfire S from MetroPCS

I'm buying this phone tomorrow. Was going to buy the Admire, but they're sold out everywhere, because of the $59 price tag on it, and was told that probably won't get anymore in until it goes back up. So I'm going with the Wildfire S instead, and they only had two left in stock at the store I went to, so I told the guy to hold me one until tomorrow.

I have this phone but don't get 3g. I would get it on the admire though. It says its 3g in the ad. Any help ?

Its an ok phone but it was too expensive. My mom got this phone. Wish she would have got the admire.

This phone has a good screen like the evo....was gonna buy it but I had an evo phone on contract and the service sucked.....then I saw the huawei m835 tokidoki and even though its fucking low end 2.2 froyo I had to have it. Bollocks to phones with a million features if the service provider cant give u good signal.

BTW the camera for this phone is horrible. The Samsung Admire's one is so much better. This phone's capacity is too little to take good quality 5mp shops. The admire beats it by a mile.

I have this phone. Not too amazing as they make it seem. I do like it though, it's just kind of slow and way too small. I'm waiting for the LG connect or Samsung Attain!

The admire is way better then the wildfire. The admire is faster and smoother. Wildfire only has a 600mhz processor nd the admire has a 800mhz processor. But the wildfire does have a better camera and it is a htc

I had this phone for about a week, and sent it back.

It's really cute, and I loved a lot of the things on it. But texting is such a pain in the ass, with this phone. :c

I went back to my Optimus, with Virgin Mobile. I'm a lot happier. :/

this has 600 mhz processor, nothing to brag about, the replacement for the Optimus, just improved the camera and a flash, HTC sense slows down the phone, so it seems a little bit slower at times compared to the optimus, now it does have the widgest from htc, and is white color which a lot of people like with solid built quality, taking the battery out can be a shore though, since the bottom part comes off as well, and you might drop the device, so be careful.

@king67675 The Wildfire may be cheaper, but the Esteem is by far the best metro phone on the market. The wildfire is still a low end android phone. The LG Esteem is a High end android phone. The HTC Wildfire is an alright phone but its specs come nowhere near the Esteem.

Awesome but I already have the lg Optimus m and I have 3G where I am at so maybe an HTC 4G phone with a dual core processor or a amazing Samsung phone. I have time to wait for you guys and love the 3G way much faster than 2G.

Oh, and it's sporting Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with HTC Sense. Not sure what version but, I would assume 3.0 or 3.5

I love HTC but, it has the same specs as the Optimus M. Of course it's not a dual-core. Metro's top processer is a single-core, 1gh snapdragon. And no, it won't be 4g. That should be obvious. They would have marketed the LTE feature if it did.

As it stands, I'm gonna go with the Esteem. Maybe, HTC will follow LG's footsteps and follow this up with an EVO like device. Here's to hoping. At the very least, it's nice to see HTC joining the ranks.

@JoshuaPaulMusic that's wrong, Metros top processor is a 1ghz hummingbird processor found on the galaxy indulge. But the LG ESTEEM is a better phone overall because of better camera.

@4everTupacShakurfan single core. 600 Mhz. pretty powerful if provided stock. otherwise. would slow down with htc sense ui. 5 MP camera. 18 frames per second video shots. not to bad. wouldn't recommend it over an lg optimus v/m/t or a samsung admire.
