Well in some Sci-Fis laser cannons need capacitor charges because the ships reactor cant load up the lasers fast enough and there are also particle accelerators that use charged particles (aka atomic-by-size bullets) that are often visualised as lasers.
What I wonder is this: How come the Argo long timers are so bewildered by seeing a spectral figure of a woman in space? It should seem almost a normal occurence to them by now. It's like the third space chick in five years (Starsha and Trelaina did pretty much the same thing).
you got to remember when this was written was during the hieght of the Cold War. The Russians were bent on World domonation. The Bolars do sound and act like the Russians did back so I'm sure the likenesses are intentional. I wonder if they have kick ass hockey team. lol The Bolar Army team, :D
Narrator say 103 days left at the end, yet the text says 139. WTF??? This third season is really hard on me. The first two season had good continuity, good story telling and good action. This is almost as bad as the Star Trek series in their inconsistencies.
@ebwje I was wondering that too. The only explanation I can come up with that makes any sense is that he (the old man) is talking time in terms of his world, which could conceivably be very different from earth.
