frontside is when you have to hop forwards to mount the rail, backside is when you have to hop backwards to meet the rail...

"Nose-slide" is where you ride your nose binding or override to your nose contact point

"board-slide" is where you are directly in the middle of the board

"lip-slide" is where you are directly in the middle of the board, but tail hops over the rail first instead of gliding your nose right over.

"Blunt-slide" is where you ride your back binding/tail

@libbotoppo actually when you approach the rail and it is at your back any trick you do is backside. it doesn't matter what way you face while sliding down the rail. that was a backside blunt 270 out
