Everyone slamming Coming Home just aren't open to different forms of NFG music. I've loved them pretty much my entire adolescence... I love every album, though all the albums have songs I don't like (apart from NFG - which was genious - not a bad song) but I've heard them advance, and try out new forms of music... Personally I would prefer bands experiment than played it safe.

And whoever mentioned the earlier albums... you missed All About The Girls (EP) and Nothing Gold Can Stay. Just sayin

Honestly, It doesn't match up to their energy in sticks and Stones. I know they're getting older, and wiser and less crazy. It happens to every band. Their energy kind of slows down. This is pretty good imo, and Its not slow and mellow like Coming home, but it isnt an amazing punch-in-the face like Catalyst adn everything before it.

i hope nfg's new album kind of resembles what sum 41 did with their music. not in the actual music, but how they kind of reverted back to their old stuff.

sum 41 got really metal-sounding with chuck, and probably lost some fans who liked the punkish roots. new found glory really came out w/something different in "coming home". hopefully they revert back to their older stuff, like sum 41 was able to.

obviously, nothing will ever be the same, but close is still good. play what got you here.
