  • A former Meriden resident, I grew up eating Ted's. They used to be very different. The original owners used real NY style hard rolls from Bonazinga's Bakery right in Meriden, and Cooper CV Sharp cheese that they got in huge wheels and lopped chunks off of. Now the rolls are soft and fall apart, and the cheese doesn't have the "bite" like a good sharp cheddar. K. LeMay's Steamed Cheeseburgers are the new Best In Town. Ck out my video "Steamed Cheeseburger at K Lemay's" and go eat one!

  • "You call hamburgers 'steamed hams'?"

    "Yes, it's a regional dialect."

  • What region?

    Upstate New York

I'm from Utica and we never call them steamed hams

Oh of course not its an Albany term

  • I have been eating at TEDs all my life!!! They are the BEST!!! Im Happy to have this GREAT Video on my YouTube Favorites Play List! Thank You, Take Care, And ENJOY TEDs!!! From, TOM COSS of Meriden, Connecticut

  • louis lunch in new haven is way better than this. Ted's buns are to large and the bun and the huge slice of cheese take away from the taste of the burgers.

  • I went yesterday for the first time, AMAZING.

  • Ted's is the BEST!!!! I have fond memories of going to Ted's. Can't wait to go back

  • They look like good burgers.I would one day pay that place a visit, but sadly i live in California,Damn if only they had a bigger franchise.
