good info.......i used talk to the sonografhist while she was doing her job quietly it was me who wanted to talk.by watching this ,now i know not to talk to them.thanks
This is unquestionably a job that requires patience and human interaction! I found this video kind of lacking some important information. Here's a great resource about becoming an ultrasound technician and the salary -
I'm looking forward to going to school for diagnostic medical sonography, and this video was very informative. not that the employee wasn't very obvious. but still good.
OK. Just a caveat: we did this silly vid at the VERY beginning of our curriculum...and the narrator's hubby did the title work while being nice enough to help us! It is all meant in good fun. Just a laugh, you know?
I think we all understand what our titles are/should be. It really is fine.
2.With the excerption of vascular technologist, the use of the words "tech","technologist" and "technician" are prohibited when referring to a registered sonographer.
I hate to be called a technician b/c I'm in the best sonography program in North America. 10 terms in 4 years, a bachelor's degree from McMaster U. & we learn everything from oby&gyn, abd, msk, vascular to neuro, fetal echo, & breast. Our program is preparing us for the future U/S practitioner positions (& hopefully it's going to be happen soon) b/c we learn so much about pathology diagnosis.
go with real, nobody won't do what she does after she go to college

Okay. You'd have to be completely dumb to make those mistakes!
However... I don't see any harm in softly talking about the scans in an upbeat tone to share a special moment with your patient.
