  • I spent hours playing two players with my brother, back in the day.

  • It took forever to finish this game. Got stuck with "Fan" for a long time. Must be more than 20 years since I played it last time, but I still remember the tricks to beat the enemies.

  • melhor o novo

  • jumpkickjumpkick etc etc i miss it...

  • never finished this :-( I had 2 or 3 guys left to finish it

  • I beat this back in the day. The way you keep spamming the flying kick doesn't help.

  • Only true incarnation of the arcade is the one that was on the game boy advcance, konami collection or something like that.

  • Out of 10 attacks only 4 of them would actually connect to the opponent. Really crappy programming.

  • LOL

  • Oh god... that 8-bit sound just gave me a semi

  • No offend, but cant you kill them in some other way?Jump-kicks is so boring!

  • Is there anyway to download the console and play it my self!????????????

    Pleas!!!I would love that!

  • NUNCHA!!!

  • WTF did I just watch

  • yea pole was such a sucker, he had the same move as blues, once he got you, you couldn't move... i remember fan, as a kid i couldnt speak english, so instead of "fans" i thought she would throw pancakes, amoungst us she was just known as pancake woman =)

  • 4:07 LOL, like two apes :P

nice methode for Pole, he always killed me with his multi hiting

  • lol, everybody *has* to do the double-jump with blues at least three of four times xD

  • i used to win everytime with my autofire on. i just get him into machine once and its over...

  • is that a paradroid sound-bite?

  • this is exactly how bruce lee defeated his enemies

  • hahah he totally pwns the green guy...

  • I remember when I was on my friends brithday, I played this game ~20 times through and birthday boy was starting to unplug his C64. :D

  • I used to think that fan was shaving her legs with her fans.

  • Autofire, Autofire...;-)

But i used this , too. I played this game as a child so much, i defeated all opponents without looking at the monitor...no joke! But i trained for this skill more than 2 month ;-)

  • @RammsteinUser Wow that's blinde folded kung fu right there.

  • @RammsteinUser Faker! ;-)

  • What's the ending to it? Just a congratulations?

  • I was so pleased when I beat this.

  • I always sucked at this game ... but the sound is so cool !!!

  • I used to love this game as a kid, but it was probably how I learnt to use swear words... I remember some days I'd just get owned by that bitch, Fan... and I still hate her to this day.

  • @TheTuita LOL, Yea same as, never did complete that game..............

  • I NEVER made it past Yule when i was a kid. I've just been shown up massively!

  • @deanano "Yule" is actually "Pole" with the top of his name cut off?

  • One of the early 64 that was just as good as the arcade.

  • Ahahaha he sounds like a newborn puppy!

  • Don't remind me about long plays of this game. One day I loaded it up and apparently had an explosion of awesome. Two million points, I'm serious. I finally got tired of playing and had to make myself lose.

I don't think I could repeat that anymore...

  • OMG the best game ........THX

  • ah the good old feet stomping, never fails

  • If I could fly like Bucho, I could become.....a....Superhero

  • Wow, look at the huge variety of subtle tactics you have to use...

  • like a me

  • poor Buchu he always gets kicked like that :p

  • I always managed to beat the game with mainly stepping on opponents foot by DOWN+FIRE :) It got me perfect on many opponents like Nuncha :D

  • I always had to settle for perfect with Pole as I never figured how to beat him without becoming paralyzed by the first hit

  • Blues was always tricky, but sweeps, side-kicks and punches would despatch everyone else with ease. Very lucky (and sloppy) beating Fan with continuous jump kicks!!

  • the method i used for pole was much more difficult!

  • We played this for days! So easy to impress... the sound of the kicks is still in my head!

  • i forgot about this game it was cool

  • incredible! I played so hard and long but I couldn't bit everyone in this game ! And U do it so easy . RESPECT.

  • good job!

  • Too bad most of the attacks are useless, most wouldn't even hit the opponent. Jumpkick and ankle kick ftw :)

  • @beghilhorst

Some cracked versions didn't work correctly. I found out years later that there are versions were all attacks work

  • @beghilhorst Yeah, but Blues hits with every shit ;)

  • The good old Times !!! omg

  • I remember playing and beating this game. WOW!

The real challenge was FAN, she was a bitch to beat. Pole was also hard too until I sussed it out. Blues was surprisingly easy compared to Fan and Pole.

  • I didn't know you could beat Blues that easily..

  • fan almost got ya

  • LOL. Blues always kicked my ass. And Pole was a real dodgy git - multiple smacks in one go till u perilled!

  • yeah, Pole always grabbed me in the nuts & just drained my energy from there lolz

  • Not much of a fighting game. The only way you KOed anybody was by doing the leg sweeps and hoping you'd get lucky really.

  • this is sooo awesome.. what a great time.. of computergames and inventions..

  • era uno de los favoritos, pasaba horas con mis hermanas jugandolo

  • great game played it for hours

  • THx thats the first time i could see the end of the game i never made it so for far when i was nine . now my life became a new way LOL .

  • The C64 version didnt have Feedle.

  • Oh mi dio!!!! adoro questo gioco, da bambino ci ho giocato tantissimo... finito una sola volta... mi sono sitrutto le mani e almeno 3 joystick.

    grandissimo!!!!

  • feel the power bassline in the start ,

    c64&sid6581 for ever

  • OK, now do it as it's supposed to be played. Everyone can beat this game using that method. I remember I did it back in the days as a kid doing just that. The C64 port got problems anyway. The music is good though.

  • Prefered the arcade sequel

Shaolins Road/Kicker It had the same music also ???

  • Great game brings back memories

  • I must have had a different version of YAKF on my C64, the one I remember playing was far more arcade accurate... hmm...

  • This game always used to anger me so much...

  • One of the greatest C64 games of all time i remember buying this from just micro in sheff for just under £10 it was a top title and a lot of money back then me and our kid played it to the death finishing it loads of times the blue master being the last man great stuff.

  • Quickest and best way to beat Pole is let him to come to a corner past you (stand somewhat away from the corner) and then continuously footsweep him. Works 9/10 and KO in 20sec or less.

  • I never got pass trough the fourth enemy,... but I was only 6.

  • WTF it looks like they couldnt be arsed coding it

  • rofl

  • great game

  • ahaha! i'd completely forgotten about this game, (then again i was about 5 at the time), but i used to love it!

  • Unfortunately, Nuncha looks like a dizzy retard on the C64...

  • This song is so great!!!=)))

  • It was unusual for the Amstrad to do a better version but yeah it was except the music.

  • The Amstrad CPC version was far better than this, the graphics were close to the arcade and all the moves worked!!!

Loved the C64 music though :-)

  • as I can remember, down+autofocus and you will beat the game with all perfect.

anyway, another stage would be cool.

  • Good graphics and music but extremely easy. On top of that, 6 out of 10 moves had no collision detection and were useless, ultimately you were only using 2 attacks to kill all of your opponents.

  • You noticed that too, eh? I remember trying to connect with the front snap kick and it would never land. Funny how the programmers made the game like that.

  • haven't seen this one in ages. one of my personal favorites.

  • You took the words right outta my mouth!

  • this is how the nes version should've been. it sorta feels like it could have been made for sega master system. had something like this came out in the states master system would have been more successful provided konami wasn't locked down only to make games for nintendo at the time.

  • Loved the music to this game. Not the actual gameplay music but the intro music. Sometimes I used to let the music play all the way to the end before starting the game which would run on for some 5minutes. I miss the music more than the actual game itself. Is there anyone here that can upload it on youTube I'd appreciate it to no end. Let me know if you do.

  • Suppose lemon64 has the tune in .sid format. Also, the tune is a c64 adaptation of Magnetic Fields IV by Jean Michel Jarre, according to wikipedia.

  • Yeah, just checked lemon64's web site and I had a blast going thru it. I wanna say thanks for replying. It really helped out.

  • Konami made this game. They've come a long way now haven't they?(Pro Evolution Soccer)

  • damn lol

  • this game is fucking shit lol and its coming out on XBOX LIVE ARCADE NEXT WEEK along with bomberman well i know what iam getting THISSSSS!!! LOL

    joking bomberman

  • Yeah its my favorite qame i like this ;) good

  • You should have played the BBC Master version as I did when I was a very small kid - the graphics were better (though it's all relative, isn't it, two decades on).

  • no they wasn`t LOL!

  • e che cazz ci vuole.. pure io lo finivo cosi'..

    sempre la stessa mossa!!!

  • Hey, very nicely played Kai! ;)

Don't know if you remember me, we used to chat a little years and years ago now via email. Check out my Last Ninja vids ;)

  • This version is much better than the NES version. In the NES version, there was only 5 different enemies, Wang, Tao, Chen(Chain in this version), Lang(Star in this version), and Mu(Buchu in this version). After all of them were beaten, it just started all over again.

  • Almost a perfect translation? I hope you're joking, this version is a complete BUST compared to the arcade. This was my favorite fighting game too... the arcade version anyway, and it is MUCH more challenging. Believe me you can't make it all the way to Blues doing that 1 move, you'll get humbled quickly if you try to.

  • This was my fave fighting game of all time. I first lpayed it in Bali when I was 12 years old. You could beat just about anybody by doing the flying kick except blues.

  • Aside from forgetting to add the crazy midgets originally from level 5, this game was an almost perfect translation from the arcade.

  • WOW The C-64 had some great music capeabillyti sorry my spelling is crappy.
