Beautiful song! This gorgeous composition is a testament to Debussy's ingenuity. The soloist is excellent and the woman of the LA Master Chorale are SUPERB. Of course, this is a testament to Maestro Salamunovich's excellent teaching of the choir. Overall excellent performance.
Magical! Such a beautiful piece. I prefer this to " Prelude to an afternoon of a Faun", and I wonder why it is not as well known. Great upload, thank you . It's enchanting.
Envoutant.

En esta pieza ya comienza a percibirse el aroma del bosque heleno en el que el fauno despertará de su sueño...

@Kylenator it was a bizarre piece indeed for the period, but its original beautiful and breathetaking. and that is what really matter in music

"The blessed damozel leaned out From the gold bar of Heaven;
Her eyes were deeper than the depth Of waters stilled at even;
She had three lilies in her hand, And the stars in her hair were seven.
Her robe, ungirt from clasp to hem, No wrought flowers did adorn,
But a white rose of Mary's gift,..."
That's how it started out originally, the work of an English Protestant (albeit with an Italian sounding name). Wonderful stuff.
