@cristaon He's not saying that he respects their themes and their lyrics. He's referring to respect for their devotion to the cause rather than feeling lukewarm about it but still preaching it. That can be turned around in a way... Christians who don't truly follow Christ are hard to truly respect because they preach something they don't believe. He's basically just saying that he respects people who are true to themselves.

@cristaon I simply meant that what I took from that is that the people who are devoted to their darker paths are more devoted to what they believe than most Christians are devoted to Jesus Christ. Christians are sadly lacking in faith, to the point where Christianity has become something that holds little meaning to most people who claim to believe it. These fucking christian 'black' metalers just dont get it. Black metal was never about being a satan worshiper. It was strictly about rebelling against the christian church because they felt that the church kind of forced its way into Scandinavia back in the 8th century. So to be a Christian black metal band is impossible.

Schau Dir Venom an, dann weißt Du, wer hier den Black Metal als ernstzunehmenden spirituell / ideologisch geprägten Musikstil schon verraten hat, bevor es ihn eigentlich gab. Black Metal konnte man von Anfang an nicht wirklich ernst nehmen, dafür gab es einfach zu viele Poser (90%) !

@Waldgeyst What are you trying to say, my dear? That you don't like Christians making black metal? You know, I'm not even a Christian myself, but the repulsing idiocy of some metal heads is laughable. You seem to be one of them. Grow up.
