how i play online? i see servers from gamespy arcade, and i go there i click join,it says it cant connect, i downloaded some v1.1 patch and then i tryed the new patch v1.1.23 or wtf is its, it says it cant find my warriors kings battles, i loled at this, but wtf ? how can i instal this new patch and play multyplayer? i see servers but when i try join i cant connect
ive just found out that using trebuchets are my best method of seigeing the enemy with explosive missles from the arcanum, but i find them being destroyed even with a couple of spearmen for defence, any ideas what else i could use for defence? i'm on the pagan rennissance side btw. thanks ;) oh and do stone eles regain hp over time? mine grew over time

I suck at siege! I did what you said but my friend tricked me into sending my whole army after his small army into a far away distant from my city.. when I destroyed his small army I realised that it was trap. He laid a siege with no defenders in my city! That was totally not fair! When my army arrived he destroyed the main building and I lost :(
when going on siege at least keep back a small army also...
if sorrounded by hills keep a scout on one of them with a unit of archers and forts are verry good sorrond them arround ur village and main city.
also keep roaming squads of spearmen and calvary...
then at the manor keep spearmen in and archers in whne i mean laods i mean loads then keep a horde of javelienrs arround each hill of archers whats attacked, when building a wall kep holding right clik and u can bild loads:)
ok build at leats ten forts acher distance away from each other arround your city.
then if there hills arround u put scouts and archeras on them..... also put and unit of spearmen surrounding ur camp near your forts then also calverlry keep them arrond the hills were the archers are ... then keep spearmen archers in sid near your gate and upgrade the wall to a fort arroubnd the gate and fill em with archers.... but rememebr don go to them let them coem to you so build your village behind you.

i can animate wood without any problems, but the cursor doesnt change to alow me to animate the rock. it just remains a pointing arrow saying this is a stone outcropping. some one else said that rock size matters, or an upgrade is needed. same thing happens when i try to animate gold rocks. ive tryed building a wickerman, but yet that doesnt work. if you can help please reply =)
hey i just found out that you can animate gold rocks and stone with the arch druid, but i may i ask how exactly to do it? everytime i click my druide and move my cursor to a rock it just says "stone rock, peasants can mie this for materials". ive tryed sevral methods, like getting a peasant to hit the stone a couple of times, and getting a peasant to remove every rock surrounding the middle rock, non seem to work, any ideas? if you know how to animate gold elementals to that'll help alot. thanks
ye basicly bigger the rock bigger the animation but you have to wait for your druid to make up enoguh valid points i also recommend u use ghost army as they are advanteg for out flanking and counter attaking also good for scary away enemy because it look like you got an big army believe me it works ...... if need anymore tips just say

But i have heard that there are an American version of the game and a European version... And that they can have trouble with connecting with each other, im not sure if this is true. But that may be the problem you have...
yes its not diffrent option of the games its probaly soemthing like a diffrent internet and server connection .. any thign and you want to ahve fun buy an english one and paly it with an american server see what happens.. any more tip or advice plz just say :)

Hehe, well the special thing about THIS game, Warrior Kings: (Battles)...
Is that you can make your own enemy's and allies. Where you can decide how and when they will attack... And how they will use their resources. And if they are aggressive or defensive and so on...
So that's maybe the reason. You have chosen some defensive and non-aggressive enemy's. Or you maybe have added them to your team.
u cnt choose when they attack but u can choose agrresive the good thing is chooesing allies what is a skill or just create one like i did need anymore tips just say :)
This is one of the best RTS games ever made, hands down. And you also need to consider that it was released in 2002. Another is Medieval 2 Total war. The only thing that I would like out of this game is a concept from Medieval 2 Total War; and that would be group formations: not only able to put a single type together, but multiple types. This would allow for better movement, and in the end: better tactics and strategy. And hey, want to play a multiplayer game sometime?
