  • I own this documentary its amazing! <3

  • I'd love to buy this for my mom for Christmas. Does anyone know where to buy it?

  • This movie & Joe Eszthera´s book The Guide to Hollywood, made me realize how phony a critic can be, Ebert, a man who has made his life stomping on peoples work, years later praising the man who he slanderd his films, what a bunch of phonies.

  • Hi, I am Brazilian and I just saw your movie on TV. Yes, I am a teenager and, of course! I have watched the films of John Hughes. The documentary is awesome! You guys are awesome! I was hoping that at the end.... I wanted to see his and yours reaction. I hope that he read the letter and saw a short cut before he past away. Thank you for the film. I will not forget about him!

  • @Sapfino onde vc viu o filme?

  • @VMBR35mm Foi na televisão, acho que em um dos canais da Hbo. Passou alguns dias e depois parou. Sempre vejo na revista da Net para ver se passa de novo, eu perdi o começo do filme e queria ver.

  • @Sapfino obrigado. Também estou querendo muito ver esse.

  • i'd love to see this, did it get a dvd release in the uk?

  • Rabbit in a snare The paper cranes <3

  • @theXoriginalXnac Kevin Smiths', 'Mallrats' and many other early movies, are about what happens after high school and are aimed at the same demographic.

  • but my guess on why he left and didnt make more movies is because the movie critics were a little bit too hard on him and those critics didnt know anything because all of his movies were classics and still are and they relate to everybody and thats why people still watch them now

  • it's amazing how they got all the actors together, everytime i watch this movie i always start crying because judd nelson (bender - from the Breakfast club) wanted to speak with him so badly because john hughes and judd were very close but he died afterwards in august so he didnt have a chance to speak with him, that part made me break down and the fact that he inspired alot of people including me it makes me sad to know that he's gone now.

  • Did you watch the film? The answer why we focused on only his teen films is in it.

  • If the film-makers were real John Hughes fans, they would look at the body of his work beyond these films to attempt to understand the film-maker.

  • and mexico??

  • Hey Guys! Loved the movie. Watched it on Netflix. I'm doing a John Hughes/Star Wars mashup you might dig. It's Weird Science as if Gary and Wyatt were huge Star Wars fans. Love to know what you think as Hughes experts, my movie is called Hughes The Force.

  • Trailer is on youtube under search Hughes the Force

  • Saw this today on moovi.co.cc... Wow.... Really smart, funny and excellent film. One of the best of the year, easily.

  • Great? Do you people have any idea who John Hughes IS?!

He wrote a movie the year before his death!

He worked on 18 MOVIES after 1991!

This is literally the Blair Witch Project using John Hughes as a cheap character to self indulge themselves.

Perhaps these bloated, clueless wannabees are searching for themselves.

And I'm glad that John had enough sense to ignore them, considering he didn't have much time left.

  • DONT KNOW WHY but MOVIE IS AWSOME... I liked it because it is very creativee 10/10 stars and you can see it on moovi.co.cc!

  • I like the trailer and also the background music of this movie. I cannot wait to watch it this weekend on moovi.co.cc. I watched Eclipse there too.

  • Seen the movie -a great film , think John read the letter:)

  • This story definitly deserves a second view... Incredible quality of direction.. See it on moovi.co.cc... quite impressive movie... Need to see it...

  • The guy was a genius. Period.

  • Why to compromise with average film quality online when you can watch films online with its original quality..!!! yeah! now thats possible for us...just log on to moovi.co.cc and you'll not believe your eyes!

  • It was on tv last night. It shows how much teenagers now need films like his to relate to. It was a good film but made me sad that he is gone now and we will never see a great artist bring another movie that represents how real teenagers are. So I pop in the dvd's and let my daughter watch all his films and they are her favorites.

  • Growing up as a child in the 80's John Hughes really was a part of our lives. He spoke to us through in many ways through his movies. I just saw the documentary today and I personally thought it was well done. Being a fan of John Hughes and also documentaries; I found it to be quite refreshing. Did you guys ever get a response from him after you made the movie?

  • I saw it a month ago at a prescreening and can't wait to see it again. Maybe even tonight at kookíca, now that it's open here. It i really perfect movie, trust to me. You will like it.

  • For beautifully filmed scenes & exquisite sets, & costuming, what a journey away from the daily political grime! I didn't want it to end; the reality based explanation changed none of the charm and magic... You can find it at kookíca now and enjoy it.

  • the producers of this film make themselves look like idiots over the course of their skillfull edit of hughes' movies.

  • @TheOxygenCommittee I totally agree with you. The interviews with actors/directors, etc. throughout the film is quite good, but tends to be ruined by the scenes of the filmmakers themselves

  • Mia Sara <3

  • I hope they fix the problems with this one in the the third film. Like, no more characters, extend the action scenes to be more epic. I saw movie on kookíca.

  • A film that you can find on kookíca is at once timely and timeless. highly racommand it

  • Just saw it on kookíca!Great over the top fun! The cast was awesome.

  • Great production, everything was perfectly mixed. Every part of this movie is there for a reason and is timed perfectly. No minutes are wasted with this. Totaly enjoyable movie with totaly positiv energy. I love this, full of time of joy. Watch it now on kookíca.

  • This film was incredible. I go to kòòkica at least once or twice a week, and I enjoyed finally seeing a movie that made me think during the film and long after. The stunt work, acting, and special effects were amazing.

  • I've been pumped for this movie since I first started hearing/reading about it. I cannot wait to see this one. I swear this man is better than the best one. So I will see it on kòòkica now.

  • For all this genre fans, this film has it all, really everything you need to have have fun with your screen: fantastic special effects, at the moments great dark humour, incredible action, hilarious parts, serious moments and totaly convincing playing. See this movie now on kòòkica and enjoy for free!

  • I think everyone is missing a lot of the audio effects in this film... particularly in the very last shot. So try to see it again at kòòkica to catch all the details. And while i thoroughly enjoyed the film, and at the time was very caught up in it, reflection over the past few days has left a really satisfied feeling.

  • John Hughes wrote and created movies for the common people .Just watched 17 Again last week and after watching it for the second time I remarked to my daughter why I liked it so much..definitely the director behind its creation liked John Hughes; as most of us do. There are a lot of us out there that want to still view this genre of movie with a good story and nothing more. Thanks for making known the genius behind the camera for these well known and much loved classics.

  • i watched this movie last night and i almost cried! i wasn't alive when any of john hughes's movies came out, but i've seen every single one of them over 100 times. I can relate to his movies so much! Ferris Bueller's Day Off is my favorite, i know every line!!! R.I.P. John!
