I remember watching a video of one of Benny Hinn's "healing" services where he's taking out whole crowds of people with a "wave of the hand" and thinking "The Force is strong with this one."... What the preacher said about us being gods..if only we could see his complete sermon, cuz the bible does indeed state this in Psalm 82:6 and John 10:34-38. well, I used my study bible, which is a New Living Translation (NLT). I use it to read the bible verses in plainer english and for my bible studies. And I have a AV King James Version. I suggest you read John the 17th chapter to see who we are in Christ Jesus.

We need to use our God given authority and start acting like sons of God on this earth, and allow His Spirit to lead and guide us, so we can enhance the Kingdom of God by fulfilling His will for our lives. It will require faith and courage.

I have a problem with pastors that teach only portions of the Bible, and not the full Gospel. Joel teaches a "happy feel-good" gospel, and doesn't use the word "repent", at least I have not heard him say it.
