I think we have had this conversation before. We do not know how the universe began. Astronomical observations lead to the idea of an expanding, cooling universe. Hence we believe in the big bang.

@quranresponse ,This is another mistake. Muhammad apparently lived among Collyridians: A heretic sect in Arabia who taught that lie! The Bible explicitly shows that the trinity consists of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Mary is not ever listed as part of the trinity n the Bible. There is no way for Muslims today to escape the fact that this indeed is a major theological blunder. If the Quran was really written by God, she would never have been connected with the trinity.

I think we have had this conversation before. We do not know how the universe began. Astronomical observations lead to the idea of an expanding, cooling universe. Hence we believe in the big bang.
There is masses of evidence for evolution. Hence we believe in evolution.

Wow, it really is amazing to meet someone as uneducated as yourself. I’ll try and explain as simply as I can.
1) If you immerse a tree in water it will die. This is not my opinion. This is established fact. If you have problems believing this I suggest you buy a book on biology. One designed for fifteen year old students should be complex enough.

@mycatistigger A second proposed theory-God once again starting from scratch.This,I believe is a much more plausible theory for creationists regarding this issue.If God created something out of nothing to begin with,He could most certainly do it again.=)

all the animals had food in the boat, which wasn't big enough to fit all their food in, but it was Magic so the food appeared by magic! And al the trees drowned but they were magic trees! So they all came back to life!
Tell me, how did animals like the kangaroo get to the middle-east? No, don’t tell me… it was by Magic. They magically got their on magic flying carpets?

in water, particularly salt water, for the length of time claimed by the Bible for the flood will die.
3) Trees in New Orleans were either not totally immersed or were immersed only temporarily. If they had been immersed for the length of time claimed by the bible for the flood they would die.
4) Some seeds can survive in water. Some seeds cannot. Most can survive in water for only a short length of time. This is not my opinion. If you have a problem believing this I suggest

@mycatistigger And,you are also saying that the length of time it took for the flood would have killed off all the trees.----There has been a lot of debate about some of the events that have taken place during the flood.Some are physically impossible,such as Noah being able to gather all the animals into one place.While for a human this may not be possible,for God it is not.
