Actually, I understand why he snapped to the darkside. Actually I think Krauser is a good guy that just turned his back on a few things. From what I read, he was forced to leave the military (due to his transforming arm I think) and became interested in working with/for Albert Wesker. I don't think he wanted to be a bad guy just wanted a job that interested him and gave him rewards he wanted. Krauser to me is a pretty kool badass character in the RE series.

I think the level of interest in Jack Krauser is seriously debatable here...Capcom assumes we want to see him in Darkside Chronicles after only a brief stint in RE4, but after all these years, we have yet to hear one peep out of Sherry, who was an important character in RE2. Riiiiiight.

I suppose so...although I haven't played Outbreak yet, I hear it's a great RE title. But I guess Krauser's presence in a follow-up title is open to interpretation. Ben was caught in the midst of the original Raccon City disaster, while I feel Krauser was more of an addition to the plot of RE4, meaning he could be taken or left as needed. But that could only be me - I don't guess either one is imperative to the plots of their respective games. :)

I agree. That seems kinda rushed, but at the same time, I think it tied both Umbrella's demise along with Wesker's rise to power quite well. And the additional one with Ada helped resolve on how she escaped Raccoon City. Perhaps the Darkside Chronicles will dive into the sister company that has been mentioned in previous games. If it isn't Tricell, that may be the focus on the central plot that the additional scenarios will cover.

Glad to see what Jack Krauser looked like pre-Wesker, but I wondering about that arm of his. In 4's Separate Ways, Ada states that he had that arm BEFORE he joined Wesker, so I'm wondering if he got that AFTER he faked his death in the South America mission or if he had it all along from the start? Well...This is just a theory, But what if he encountered a sort of Plagas in South America? I mean, if Krauser had it before he joined Wesker, then he probably encountered a sample of some sort during the mission and then faked his death.
