I think it's a studio recording and I don't think he is really at Versailles. It is just a backdrop. Not a single person in the background notices the guitarist or even the camera. That gives it away.
Still a beautiful performance by one of my favorite guitarists.
Waouu, first time i have ever had listen this music on a guitar, i used to listen already on a piano, and of course on a Harpsichord... Congratulations, it's beautiful, so clear...Thanks for this nice moment.
@CraxiProfessional if you have good speakers you can see that the track was added on top of the recording because it was too noisy. If he did in studio i'm sure he can do it live in front of the palace as well. Very beautiful version!!
A wonderful homecoming to Versailles for this piece.. But I suspect that the version we are hearing is not the performance we are seeing. It seems looped.
I've loved this piece for many years, since hearing Parkening's version. You perform it beautifully, with great tone and an intelligent, meditative interpretation. Thanks for the listening pleasure!
very interesting, beautifull music with a french view, it makes me feel like if i were inside the film, i can even feel the cold afternoon, amazing!!!
What a beautiful rendition in guitar what was originally composed for the harpsichord..and how appropriate to be in front of the Palace of Versailles!
This just goes to prove that you could put one of the greatest guitar players in the world on the street or the subway, and the public would be too stupid to stop and listen.
hey folks .. those are tourists walking by !! not french people .. well errr I am French so .. I love this version anyway .. recorded in a studio obviously .; but that does not change the magic ! thank you segoavi (segovia anagram haha) excellent
Great! There would be perhaps only one even better version of it: At Versailles IN THE SNOW :-) Seriously, regardless the noises this performance has an out-of-this-world effect, which makes it even more precious. Best regards,
if it's a studio recording, they went to alot of trouble to include the sound of passing cars!

It seems that you played inside a room; or else folks would certainly stayed around you and listened. It was wonderful.

L' interprétation est superbe, respectant la liaison des notes et la sonorité, mais ça m' étonne de n' entendre aucun bruit extérieur...
