its like george on call of the dead but less annoying, he runs up to you but the only thing he does is Headbutt you, which won't kill you but will injure you and (apparently) take your perk(s).

and the Red coloured name is because its a random person on your friendslist (the person isn't playing, its just done randomly), and its easier to kill then george, but he'll just come back later.
