We are talking about woman in a society where they dont have a right in some instences. If they are going to be in the academy then why are they wearing the veil over their face. Oh yea real easy way for someone to suffocate them. They should work along side the men so that if they do need a woman to search a home or a female then they can do so. But to patrol the streets Is crazy and I think it will only bring crime to themselves... They would be an easy target for crimes and rapes...
@BintNas09, why not ?first of all, i think we do need females 2 serve as a police officers and soldiers. i think its more appropriate for a female officer to do the house search. especially in yemen if you only know our traditions... secondly, what if this is the only legit way they could earn money? once again if you only know what poverty does to ppl.

Jazzak allah khair my brother in Islam. I know woman are oppressed all over the world. But its sad to see them in Muslim countries where they have Islamic laws that gives them more integrity and rights as woman. With that said, I love yemen, and I will keep my people in my prayers.
