  • what is this shit music background,?

  • not very challenging when the test words are in the same order you learned them in

  • stomach from the picture used in the film is not "Magen" but "Bauch". You can't see the "Magen" without X-rays :D

  • "Magen" is the organ where the food goes to, the inside.

"Bauch" is the outside (belly?). On the picture the girl has a "Bauchnabelpiercing" - a belly button piercing.

The problem is, that in english "stomach" is both the inside and the outside but "Magen" is just the inside and on the picture you don't really see the "Magen".

  • Hi there, I'm from germany and I want to improve my english, because I need it for my work. If any native english speaker wants to write with me now and then, please don't hesitate and write me a message :)

  • @MichaelDonnerMusic i an native and i speek english lol i live in washinton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • hi there , i live in canada and I am german but I don't speak it so I am trying to learn, if you have any questions or want to talk, i am free to help and maybe you could help me with german !:)

    thanks, Danke !

  • @alexis4982 Actually, I have a question already :)

If I want to tell someone for example, "I'm quite great" ;) and I want to phrase it as a question...... How do I ask that?

    Examples:

"The weather is great today, isn't it?"

"You didn't recognize me, did you?"

"You think you are the brightest fellow, don't you?"

And now the examples I don't know how to aks it as a "question"

    "I'm quite brilliant, ......... ?"

    "So, you've been in America, ........ ?"

    Michael from Bavaria

  • hmm, well you could say "I'm quite brilliant, don't you think?

and as for the other "so you've been in America" doesn't sound right, unless you are asking a person if they have been in America for a certain amount of time or if they have been to america, then you say"So, you've been to America before? Or you coudl say "So, you've been in America for a while?

Those are the only ways that really make sense, I hope I was of some assistance to your predicament/question.

    Alexis from Canada

  • Der Arrm

    Der Arrm

Wieso betonst du das r so? ;O

  • i fuckin love the german language and i think germans are HOT... even if i am american!! i know thats not relevant i just wanted to say that>_<

  • @MrBethyme Mich auch =)

  • "Der Magen" is a noun that describes the inner organ called stomach, just to make this clear.

If you want to describe the region around the belly button that you can see from outside use the word "(der) Bauch".

    Greetings from Germany ;)

  • @derFreiBierFred1 Danke! Das ist ein schönen bauch, da ja!

  • The Music is very LOUD and ANNOYING. I can't focus on learning German when the LOUD music is playing Louder than the words.. When I turn off the music, then I can't hear the German words either. So I can't win.

  • @GrannySkippy lol awesome

  • Der Die and Das all means the. so the english equivalent is the.

  • why does it have der or das always in front of it?

  • @pyjamagirl15

Because the German language requires declension according to the articles.

If you don't know what is the gender, it is not possible to develop the language.

    Der= male/ Die= female / Das = neutral

    That is all

  • @MrEkatmali der die das is simple

    das messer

    der hund

    die katze

ok ok I am a german so for me it is simple

  • @MrEkatmali deutsche sprache, schwere sprache

    (german language, dificult language)

  • lol just learn when not in school my der kopf hurts and my das auges hurt same with my das ohr from these blasted headphones

  • bin auch grade dabei deutch zu lernen

  • @07chimpy07 win.

  • Sehr gut,

  • der Bauch means stomach also

  • @EhRenK0deX actually what they were showing is der Bauch which mean abdomen. The stomach which is an organ in the abdomen is der Magen

  • @EhRenK0deX yes was just about saying the same. Bauch is belly, stomach is rather the internal organ which is "der Magen"

  • @EhRenK0deX i thought so,that I have heard another expression for stomach....danke :D

  • @EhRenK0deX really? cool

  • @EhRenK0deX Nein! >:O Bauch ist bauch in Deutsche!!!!

  • Ich liebe das Lied
