It IS utterly ridiculous, and unapologetically so. That's why I love CSI Miami - it revels in its own ridiculousness. Its overly bright colors, paper thin plots, unbelievably rushed and often nonexistent forensic "tests", Horatio's cartoonish tough-guy persona, these laughably melodramatic moments, etc etc... that's why I think it's AWESOME. It never even tries to go for "realistic". It's ridiculous and proud of it.

What's ridiculous about this? I love when they do stuff like this on the show. This is what I miss from my favorite CSI show - Vegas. There are too many people and not enough of the team together anymore. Vegas should take a hint from Miami and make their team take a walk down the strip together!
