  • Instead of using a craft knife, can't you just use a cardboard box cutter? Also, where did you get that paper cutter, the one you use at the beginning with the ruler attached to it?

  • @PresidentMercury I use box cutter when I need to cut through thicker chipboard or cardboard, but I'm sure it will work fine on cardstock too. I'm just reaching out for the tools that are nearest to me. As for the paper trimmer it is the old Fiskars paper trimmer. I bought it off ebay when I lived in Dublin, Ireland and that was my only option. I'd get the new one if I were you.

  • I love this simple notebook video & the music? What song is this & the artist?

  • @onli1luv Thanks. The music is from YouTube voice over options and is called: La Familia Son - Isla (see the link on the info bar below the video)

  • Does this work for younge rpeople ?

  • @shootingstarskycats I believe it's simple enough. But if you are working with really wee ones, you should help them w/ the stapler so they won't get hurt.

  • @shootingstarskycats Yes, young people can do it... but older people (40 or above) jst can't seem to get the hang of it at all.

  • WOW! this is really nice, you just made my day, i was looking for something simple and nice the kids from church could make and i just found it. thank you very much.

  • @ruthie1019 Thank you. I am so happy I could help! I would love if you shared the kids' projects with me. Just leave a link at the comment section on the blog post - you may find the link in the information section of the video.

  • Ouch. Never mind, it's so easy to make that you can whip up another one in 5 minutes :) Just make sure you close the staple's prongs properly.

  • hi, would you mind giving me some ideas on what i use the notebooks for? i have collected many but i just dont know what to write inside. thanks :D

  • You may visit my blog I have a ton of journaling prompts (link at the side bar).

Basically write whatever is on your mind, write down your idea, sketch inside, make mini-album out of it, write down your favorite quotes, keep up with your dreams, etc.

    I hope that helped <3

Any recycling is right up my alley.

  • thank you, I love the crafts on your channel and can't wait to try them :)

  • Thank you! I'd love to see your projects!

  • this is a very nice book. you make it look so easy can I have it please

  • Thank you! It IS easy. Give it a try, I'm sure yours will be fahhhhbulous.

  • you are welcome:)

  • I so agree with you the "right" tools can be found anywhere as long as we open our eyes to what is possible. Scrapbooking is in of itself not too costly compared to other "crafts"., but oh what you can do with it, as you so aptly show us. Love your tutorials.

  • Thank you!!!

  • You can use a simple cardboard box too.

  • Great idea, I guess it depends on the prongs' height... Anyways, I'm sure I can stack the cardboard to accommodate any height... :)

  • Once again very nice

  • Once again - thank you very much ;)

  • That look quite easy If you have the nedded tools.

  • The fun part is that the right tools can be found EVERYWHERE. All you really need is a simple stapler and a piece of styrofoam from an old package.
