id say the level of basketball competition he faced in high school was fairly low compared to someone like Derrick Rose. I wouldn't say he's ridiculously overrated but other 07 prospects like Rose, Gordon and Beasley are damn good too.

I have nothing against Mayo (kid has great skills - sweet stroke and good handle). His biggest mistake was going to USC. He received no benefit by playing there. He didn't win anything and went from being the #1 pick to a mid lottery selection and cost himself millions. Floyd told him he was going to be a big PG in the NBA but he played the 2 most of his time at SC. Way to prepare him for the NBA Floyd. Thanks for nothing!

I have notticed how you have not mentioned his skill set, which is what NBA scouts look at most. Especially when you get to pre draft workouts that does not mean anything. O.J. has proven himself to pros for years. 41 against Paul Pierce, lighting up Baron Davis at UCLA, holiding his own against Kobe at LMU, playing Jordan 1 on 1 at his camp. I am a skills trainer in this industry and work with people in and out of the NBA and work with some of the nation's best high school prospects.

You can see that when their bodies break down(Shaq, Larry Johnson, etc.) and you see how good they really. O.J. has a solid NBA combo body(6'5 215) with above average athleticsim and exceptional ball skills as he has shown time after time from 6th grade to now.
