The Previews Gothic games had not the same graphics , but when for example i was playing Gothic 2 i didn't feel that the fireball was fake and so for all the spells ....

Sadly this is a game that had lots of potential but was released half-finished. Lots of bugs and glitches along with poor writing and even worse voice acting.

i play'd gothic 1-3 whit high graphics settings, gothic 3 laget a bit whit high settings but it sold not have lagged cos my PC SYS REG is a bit more what gothic 3 SYS REG are, gothic 3 graphics was bugged & a lot of people had same problem, et least gothic 3 ver 1.0 graphics was bugged, or was it ver 1.1

why gothic 2 was better u may ask, as example in gothic 2 paladins had rune magic & it was better then in gothic 3, paladins magic was weak VS normal mobs or some did 0 Damage but VS evil mobs their magic was strong & a lot cooler & mages had a lot of cool spells & map was bigger, at least the the free run land part or shod i say wilderness, u know what i mean, also u was able to rest & swim, even risen is better then gothic 4, it is my opinion of the game

@Divineknight94 Sidequest and exploring is 90% of these games. So yeah, I used 80 hours on Gothic 3 before I beat the game. But I hope Gothic 4 is more like the number 2 and less that number 3. The graphic is great, but gameplay is more important to me.

Why do these Gothics Series have a bad graphics? With a GTX295 6GB of Ram DDR31333 Intel QX9650 all Gothics should be fine but no. All the graphics was moving. Not a stable game. Had to remove it from my system.

The story is great I love it but the way you guys make it is really crap. Take a look at Call of duty games. All of them have stable graphics.

@elcarsto I have all call of duties installed on my pc. They run perfect. I mean when I walk and I look the ground you can see how stable the ground is. It does not shake or move like it was directx 5 or so. Also looking at buildings and then move left or right. In this way call of duty is very stable. All Call of duties are stable for some reasons. Crysis is a good game but is not stable at all.

Before I use to think My ATI 4870 x2 is not doing the job but after trying nvidia card too I found out that the makers of the games are not doing a great job. If you like to know if a gabe is good or not just check if the ground is not mobing while walking. Buildings should stay at their place not act like if refresh rate was 30.

No, it is the game themself that are having lags or run not stable. For example I have the feeling that game makers are not up to date with directx. Let's put it this way. Microsoft makes directx 10 then the game makers make games with directx 10 and while they make games they don't know how to fit their games with the new directx 10 or 11.

Well it's simple because directx 10 is not stable yet but stupid microsoft is going now for 11 which to me does not make any sense. Fix the bugs in directx10 then move to 11. Most of the games or almost all games that were made from 2007 till 2009 run better on directx 9 than 10 or they are not even made for 10 because they run like if it was Playstation 1.

This is what I am talking about people like you who can't see the refresh problems. Look very careful. Put your classes on and look at 2:21 Look at the house how it shakes or sometimes the picture just moves as if there was not enough refresh rates.

@PSEK I do not think it is running good it most me you who can't see the unstability . Some of my friend don't see them either. Their eyes are too busy on focusing on things what are going on in the game not seeing the unstability of the game.

For me a game is stable when you don't see things mobing while you move. Trees, buildings, ground everything has to stay. After all it is you who is moving not the ground or buildings. It's just sad how they can't make stable games.

Running crysis with 2 gb of ram, ati x850 with a single core of 3.6 Ghz is just not possible. Okay maybe you had it on below 800X600 Resolution which still gives you a better graphics than some consoles do. Anyway no need to talk about it anymore. Who wants to play those games can play.

@KoSoVaAnGeL wow since 98 so ur a pc kiddie.my first system was a wfw 3.1 with 66 mhz. i had no clue about nothin but my grandpa was a geek. sure its possible to run crysis on this system the only condition is to put aa and af at 2x and not higher, wich is fine and if u overclock ur system as everone does u get around 35 fps out of the system. ur hardware might be good but ur configuration seems to be crap if u have such problems. and micro stutter are normal in almost every game.

There is even no Setariff (the town) anymore because they published arcania too fast. So the story is very, very short. In Europe there are many gamers really disappointed and frustrated by this fact. Arcania has too many weaknesses and it doesn't warrant its high price of 45€. I looked a Let's play about Arcania until the end and it's just horrible.
