haros WERE nice back then not so much now but ide have to say a Profile prostyler was the ultimate freestyle bike back then...i also have a spot for the old mongoose decades
Ok, how about that Miami Hopper spin by Dave Norrie at 1:30? What a cool move.
Although I love the new flatland style for it's incredible technical content, I find that it's missing the "pizzaz" of the "old school" and "mid school" styles. Guys like Fiola, Aparijo and Rick Allison had a lot of that in thier riding. Perhaps is showmanship?
I think part of it is the pace: the older styles had more "space" available for footwork, hand waves, etc, which added flair to the runs.
Was that Rick Moliterno saying that's my trick? He does that one a lot.
