  • I just bought one. Can't fucking wait.

  • Is this amp loud enough to jam with a drummer?

  • @metalhead930430 It is certainly loud enough to jam with a drummer. The AC30 is a tried and true rock amp of the ages. What it isn't is louder or as loud as a 100 watt amp, obviously. I'm just saying that because you're "metalhead". Maybe you plan in a band with a guy who's got a Mesa DR head and cab. If he plays loud, you can't compete.

This amp is amazing and I just recorded my bands' EP with it and an Orange AD30. you can hear more samples at parchmentskies-dot-bandcamp-dot-com

  • @bisaillion Haha, yeah i made this account when i was like thirteen. I play mostly alternative music now, my biggest influence is pearl jam so im guessing this amp is loud enough for that type of stuff. Thanks for the info man.

  • GREAT AMP.

  • great tone mate! I'm trying to decide between one of these and an AC15C1 - both awesome.

  • 1.34, was that a knopfler lick from what it is

  • beaautifulllll puppy :)O

  • This is the sound I bought this amp for!

  • Beautiful!!!! I have the AC15C1 and sounds amazing also.

  • wouah !!!!

  • r u using the effects loop?

  • Hey man r u using the low or the high input in the top boost?

  • I love the little dog on the back of the amp!

  • are all the channels footswitchable? Tremolo, reverb and top boost?

  • @IHendrikI just the tremolo and reverb.

  • would you recommend me this amp before the fender blues deluxe??

i love vox amplifiers, but its a lot of money and i want to be sure about what i'm buying...

  • @LuiisMay hey luis, where are you from? i'm from brazil and luis is a common name, so if you want some help i can help you in portuguese! Anyway..i have the Deluxe Reverb, and it really depends on the type of sound that you want and the guitar that you have!

  • @mark0tc i'm from spain so i dont understand portuguese! i have a fender standard telecaster.

  • @LuiisMay alright. In both amps you will get an amazing sound! It now depends on what type os music you like to play...I have a Gibson LP ang i play through a deluxe reverb, it sound amazing but i need to have great distorcion pedals to boost the amp! Although the AC30 have gain mod, i would still need some pedals to boost it up a bit, but i would have more tone range! If you like clean stuff, i could say both amps are pretty the same..what do you like to play?

  • @mark0tc i use to play something near to british rock or pop rock, never play things too hard, so i have thought i will buy the VOX. thank you!

  • GZ3 is a rectifier tube, becomes too hot, injurious for the amp.

  • i love this amp i will buy it great tone bro hey i have one question what is the difference on this one and the CC2 ? sorry for my english i speak spanish!!! god bless you!!

  • aww puppy!

  • aww puppy! :D

  • on the original vox website they wrote that c2 is better for overdrive than cc2, but i don't know why.. and i know that c2 has 7 tubes and cc2 has 8. There isn't gz34 c2: 3 x 12AX7 and 4 x EL84 tubes cc2: 4 x EL84 and 3 x 12AX7 and 1 x GZ34

  • @TolikRyumin more tubes doesn't mean better overdrive. The Marshall 2203 has 7 tubes as well...

I think in introducing a SS transistor to the circuitry it allows you to tweak out some low end flubbing that you otherwise couldn't tweak out of the rectifier tube. Its a great amp. don't worry so much about tube #, worry more about the tone and whether or not you like it

  • @TolikRyumin It's because of the SS rectifier. SS works better with high gain.

  • @TolikRyumin I heard a lot of the GZ34 tube rectifier broke on the CC2 and therefore they switched to a solidstate rectifier on the C2 instead

  • @TolikRyumin Rectifier tubes have absolutely nothing to do with Gain but current conversion!

  • please! help me.. vox ac30c2 or vox ac30cc2? and what about speakers?? sorry for my english..

  • @TolikRyumin I have a c2 and it sounds awesome! when it comes to choosing speakers, i'd try to avoid the wharfdales, and go for celestion instead. The celestion blues are the best combination with this amp, but the celestion greenbacks have a lot to offer at a more reasonable price! the cc2 does not come with the greenback option its either the wharfdale or the blues..

  • Nice demo, thanx, i'm thinking about picking one up, I don't know if it's better than the custom classic ?

  • AC 30 C2 is the best AC30 ewer.

  • can you compare celestion speakers in your vox with vox orginal speakers from cc2 ?? Btw very nice sound :P . Please do some crancked up video because i am very intrested in this amp and i dont know what should i buy . Is it god for play some veavy blues / classic rock music ( with some distortion pedal like ds-1 )??

  • @qwert123c is it good? you bet! If heavy blues/classic rock is what you're looking for, than this is your deal. And funnily enough, I THINK you would find the celestion greenbacks better than the celestion blues for that genre. and this amp accepts pedals in front of it like a charm!
