I think swearing budgies are hilarious. I actually think Petrol is very bold and confident. You raise your hand above him but he doesn't flinch or get scared at all even though he's so tiny.

and that is THE sign of complete trust. any animal in nature will feel threatened when another animal is taller than themselves. petrol was way cool.

I have a strange bird, but not half a strange as this. I watched the whole series. He seems to love you very much. He's fully flighted? All these people with negative comments don't seem to realise that if you bother a fully flighted bird at any time, the bird will fly away. :)

exactly! i couldn't have said it better myself. i don;t believe in clipping wings, and yes, petrol just had that rare nature.

notice how those nasty comments started to stop nearer the last few clips in this series?
