i live in wasington state. and over half of the drivers that i see pulled over are from California. If you are from California and you come to washington state drive the speed limit . it really iriatates me when california drivers push me around all bacause i am going the speed limit. you drive like that up here you will get a ticket. The Washington state high way patrol and local sherif departments do not tolerate people who drive like that.

I'm from utah and i really hate california drivers they pissed me off so bad. If you CALIFORNIA DRIVER come to utah drive on the right side of the road not the left you idiots the left is for drivers that need to pass or drive faster than you ass holes. If you're driving slow DRIVE ON RIGHT SIDE NOT THE LEFT AND IF YOU DECIDE TO BE AN ASS HOLE AND DRIVE ON THE LEFT SIDE AT LEAST MOVE OVER FOR PEOPLE TO PASS YOU FUCKING ASS HOLES I HATE CALIFORNIA DRIVERS FUCK YOU ALL DON'T COME TO UTAH.

i lived, grew up in Oregon but learned to drive in Washington, now i live in California. You get used to driving fast. The average speed of california drivers is like 90 in a 65....

I've been driving in California for about 6 months now. i went back to oregon and was like wtf you people are SLOW!! haha

Yeah, I've lived in California for 10 years, and I agrees totally that CA drivers are the worst. Everyone here thinks they own the road, and do pretty much what ever they feel like. In general Its safest to just move with the flow of traffic. If someone does tailgate you, maintain your speed. Then carefully change lanes when its safe to do so. Hopefully the idiot will pass you.

I got a pretty new car and 30 miles/hour feels like 20 miles/hour, and so on.

Where I live (Sweden), the speed limit on the highway is 75 miles/hour.

It used to be 68 on the highway but on some parts they thought that 68 was a little bit to slow so they changed it to 75

I'm from California, so maybe I can't talk, but I hate the way Californian drivers drive around here. They're so snotty, and they tailgate way too much. When someone's tailgating me, my favorite thing to do is to suddenly slam on my breaks and watch them in the rear-view mirror frantically breaking. Passive aggressive and dangerous, maybe, but seriously my favorite part of driving.

Yeah most people I know are from California (I was born there) and I like it there but yeah. Californian drivers and Oregon don't really mix.

I am afraid to do that sudden breaking myself but I do have fun slowing down when I'm being pushed. I mean, it's not like I'm going under the speed limit or anything originally.

ZOMG starsandsea, you just made her point perfectly, about CA drivers. Only a CA driver would think slamming on your breaks like that, is a reasonable reaction. Typical CA road rage. Many deaths have caused by people doing exactly what you are advocating. Is the joy you get from that really worth the lives you are risking?

I know what I do is bad. I do get road rage. Would it help any if I explained that I only break long enough to shock them? Then I hit the gas to regain my original speed. You'll probably still say it risk lives.

There was a guy in Colorado who did exactly that. The other car swerved to the left, clipped the back of his car, crossed the yellow line and hit another car head on. The reports I read about that crash say that the man who caused the accident cut off another car and then put on his brakes. I haven't found anything that says he put on his brakes and then sped up. What he did is not something I would do. It sounds like the man intended to cause an accident.
