  • I think it was much bettert if Charice had used the other microphone which the emcee or the announcer used. It has a finest sound.

  • starts singing at 4:00

  • they dont listen to the song they disrespect their national anthem what a pity poor people. they just screaming and wistleling at the end of the song

  • you are really great charice...

  • its a shame how americans treat their anthem song

  • @slowspeed888 that\s not their national anthem

  • @pfqueen2011 thats not the american natl. anthem.. its star spangled banner

  • @zn4047 i know that.

  • @slowspeed888 In what way do you mean?

  • wow awesome~

  • i just observed, they dont respect their national anthem.... hehehe

  • @moshylass32 this is not their national anthem

  • @moshylass32 thats not the american natl. anthem.. its star spangled banner

  • WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, AMAZING KID!!! BRASIL!!

  • A very classy young woman, with a beautiful voice. Her story and gift should inspire each of us.

  • @PhalangePhoebe Those United States Naval Paratroopers are NOT disrespecting her performance. They are part of the equation in our freedom...The entire performance, including hers, was a tribute to 9-11-11. You are missing the point. She was honored to be included. You should be more proud of their performance than hers alone.

  • @blacksatin7 I can understand where you're coming from but they could've at least did their JUMP at the very end of the song. Honestly this made Charice very uncomfortable.. she being a good sport knowing that most of the "applause" was for the Paratroopers ( no disrespect to them but to the "football fans" she smiled but was not happy just look her facial expression @6:25-6:27. THE SHOW ARRANGEMENT WAS AWFUL..PERIOD!!

  • Very disrepectful from a professional organization. It also disrepects the song. Charice deserves an apology from the NFL.

  • she is nervous here, you can see it she fiddles her fingers.

  • @FastEddie19577 If it should be an American singing GBA then why was Charice chosen to sing GBA @ the 2009 Obama PreInaugural Events? During her rendition of GBA @ the Martin Luther King event they gave her a standing ovation before she even finished the song. In another event she gave a personal performance of GBA for President Obama's half-sister Maya Soetero who gave Charice a hug afterwards.

  • @TheEmerald86 Charice sings our national anthem and GBA perfectly because of who she is. She has been called a musical genius and has a tremendous catalog of songs in her memory bank that she can summon at any time and sing perfectly with accompaniment or acappella.

  • I love Courtney! She always take care of my Princess!

  • 0:44 did something hurt her there hahah :(

  • @itsULFARVIKTOR Nope she's not getting hurt there. If you notice she is placing something in her ears...those are monitor speakers she is inserting...and those are specially molded for her ears in particular. She opens her mouth to relieve pressure in the inner ear and to make the plugs or molds fit better. I use these types of molds as well for my job.

  • Its funny that charice a non american singer did this song perfectly in a numerous times, while these 'white singers' messed up this song in a nuerous times also.lol

  • who the hell would dislike this?

  • Philippines was a US territory for a long time.

  • 2014:

    L.A. Jaguars

  • @QBDogKiller Jaguars are not going anywhere, btw, L.A. has had 2 chances to support an NFL franchise and failed twice. L.A. had their chance so fuck off

  • I like Charice, she sings great, but they should have had an American sing this song. That's like having an American sing a song at japan's Hiroshima anniversary.

  • @FastEddie19577 bad analogy... history between US and Japan is a total mess.. US and Philippines have been allies for a long time

  • @FastEddie19577 : That's ridiculous and so stupid it doesn't really merit a reply. Over 140,00 men, women, children, Korean slave laborers and other were incinerated or died later from radiation.

  • 666 likes nice number

  • Wag pansinin yung mga ugaling alimango jan. We love charice and yun ang importante. Gusto lang ng atensyon ang mga yan

  • the audience is f**ked up... apparently nobody gives a shit what she's singing... they can go screw themselves

  • @brightspark495 You're an idiot! Jacksonville is a very patriotic city and the reason people are cheering is because our military, police, fire department people are walking on to the field and being introduced to the crowd. Think before you become so mighty and start making lofty judgements. The Jaguars often do not have a singer to sing the national anthem and instead the crowd does it. It is beautiful and when there live can give you goosebumps.

  • Charice should have stayed in town until Filipino Pride Day Lol

  • the 1st filipina who sang this theme in america!!!wow...

  • shes american filifino.. hahha

  • The Jaguar organization presented Charice with a red, white, and blue football with her name on it..

  • Charice is doing the theme song of FINAL FANTASY XIII-2!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iiixySaTnAfLaNiF wOAH! Really? xD

  • @TheMusicGeek2010 Yeah, "New World". It's beautiful!

  • What a wonderful crowd you got out there.

  • @mevmike: LOL! that is so funny!

  • we are filipinos.. yeah

  • nice shoes

  • Amazing Grace

  • Why is amazing grace being played on bagpipes?

  • @humptyodumptyo Same reason she sang "God Bless America." God is at the heart of our country.

  • wow, those high heels.

  • Charice is an extraordinary girl! She sings perfectly!!! I was amazed by her performance! :")

  • I love Charice! I love her voice too!!! Great job Charice and may God blessed you more! :")

  • ICE runs through her veins...

  • She has given justice to both songs "God Bless America" and "The Star Spangled Banner". And both songs resonates to our unsung heroes in America. Those who protect the America I knew. This is what counts. Thank you Charice!

  • hhhaayyyss sad to say 3000 people died in this tragedy 10 years ago but more than 3000 soldiers died to fight against terrorism...I still hope peace and I think Charice's voice would be a good start to inspire

  • GREAT DOCU... >) <3

  • shes cool

  • yeah.......

  • She did so amazing! Football stadium's are extremely difficult to perform in...I've seen many famous singers get booed off the stage. But not our Cha!!! She was the perfect choice for the occasion! Her voice is so angelic!

  • Oh god bless her. She was really nervous! You could see her panting even before her name was called!

  • the fact that Charice was asked to perform two most important songs here, should make us all proud to be Pinoys..

  • Charice is soooo pretty here... simple yet stylish.

  • Another Filipino showing the world that we are world-class talent. Leah-Pacquiao-Charice-Paeng Nepomoceno-Eugene Torre . . . Thanks for all your hard work and making Filipino expats proud!

  • hinde ka ba ma proud nyan sa kanya kinakanta nya panbansan awit ng mga amerikano T_T kaya wag nio sya nililiit kse malaki ang karangalan tinatamo nya para din satin mga Filipino naintindihan nio ba yun..

  • i love u so much for this. thank u very much *hugs*

  • Charice is like the "eye-of-the-hurricane", performs magnificently amidst a very chaotic environment!!//

  • Thank you for sharing this vid to us appreciated. So clear cam wht cam u used? Thanks appreciate your reply :)

  • @ItsMeDeZ Canon Vixia HF M41

  • @ice3353 thank u :)

  • @ice3353 Yeah its very nice and its very clear and very professional shots thanks so much better than other camera i have seen in you tube

  • Her New World song is great! And it totally fits in Final Fantasy XIII-2 as well!

  • shes not even an american yet -___-

  • a star standing on top of one. funny. she's great :D

  • ice.

  • THE BEST SINGER IN THE PLANET..!! SHE WAS A PHENOMINAL SINGER!!!

  • I marvel at Charice's composure here - all that pandemonium around her and she managed a stellar rendition! congratulations, job well done girl!

  • shame on some Filipinos that hates Charice , dont be like that we should support our fellow Filipino in other countries they strive harder to get on top what about other they are just like those making fun of nothing..Kung wala kayong magawa sa buhay maghanap kayo ng bagay na pwede ninyong mapagkakitaan..

Above all Congratulations to CHARICE!!!! We are proud of you..

  • Well done ice3353, very nice and clear video, you go Cha!!!

  • wow!

  • I am proud of you charice...hehehe

  • 9 dislikes are from terrorists.

  • @mevmike

    It's funny !! :

Your comment made me believe (just for a moment) that America is an innocent nation !!

Talking about terrorists huh ? .. Have a nice day sir !! ..

  • @mevmike hahaha!!! superlike!

  • wow NICE SHOES...

  • A real pro! She's out there to perform and she did a great job despite all the distractions.

  • @gmn59647 indeed

  • 10 people have no respect in themselves, yet alone as a person. feel sorry for them who disliked this honorable performance.

  • Charice as a Filipino single-handedly chosen to sing the national anthem for the USA is enough honor in itself. Even if it will not be enough for Chasters to boost Charice in defense for her, crabs are still far inferior enough not to be able to put a good man - Charice - down.

  • god bless you CHARICE!!!!!

  • I'm so happy for you Cha :)

    You're our NO.1 :D

  • Even with all the things going around her, my attention is still on her. Amazing job Charice, so happy for you :)

  • @7ardee, you are right play it safe, don't generalize.

  • understand all the activities, press around the world want a piece of this event, to be played in their country,

  • people stop the comparison, of course in dodgers her rendition is quite a bomb, but my dear folks, this is 9/11 event, charice rendition is soulful sweet.

  • @musicheals091 Are you referring to the post-exchange b/w @jhongskiezzz and I? If so, we were not comparing any vocalists, okay. I was making clear to him that this is another arrangement of David Foster. That exchange helps and clarifies so that viewers will know that Charice sang a DF arrangement of GBA. Of course, the GBA at the Dodgers game was also a DF arrangement.

  • just imagine parachutes landed just behind charice.

  • of so many distraction, she is so focus.

  • just imagine the parachute landed in the middle.

  • she deserve to be on top,,a humble artist and a great singer always inspire to everyone,,i remember what she said "there can be miracle when you believe"..we love u charice,,!!!!!

  • Like if u got goosebumps watching this.

    NEVER FORGET!!!

  • Love Charice......

  • @TheWatchingbird It's an NFL event as well as 9/11 tenth anniversary, tremendous media coverage evidenced by the amount of audio / video hardware present. It would be stupid to turn down appearance to this event. As for the high heels, I agree...it would be more practical to wear a more comfortable shoes in a full-contact athletic venue where "bloody faces and broken noses" takes place. The gridiron is not for timid, faint-hearted people. Kudos to Charice!

  • Ganda naman ng treatment kay Charice ng mga crew talagang in-aalagaan.

  • Nice crowd response, Great JOB Charice, difficult feat in front of humongous crowd & noise.

  • her GBA is personally arranged by DAVID FOSTER, that's her OWN rendition of the song not a thing wrong about for what she sang it

  • @jhongskiezzz Though delivered in a somber, solemn tone as this is a 9/11 event vis-avis the US Pres. inauguration, this is still a DF arrangement. Listen to the MLK event again. Besides, how do you know it's totally different? Did you spoke with DF & Charice?

  • @SaTrinomaNagkita nope i didnt spoke to them for the love of god... im just saying it's her rendition on her own way to sang it... will you check out her david foster and friends concert? she did sang it the way she sang it here at the NFL players game event.... on the MLK event that's the rendition of celine her hero and great idol. she used it for the first time, celine rendition when she was starting right there @ the music stream on US

  • @jhongskiezzz Perhaps I was not clear or I misunderstood you. The one sang by Charice at the MLK-US Inaugural event on 1/18/09 is a DF arrangement of GBA as originally interpreted by Celine in 2001 after the 9/11/01 attacks. This 9/11/11-NFL event is ALSO a DF arrangement of GBA. And you are right, it was originally interpreted by Charice in the DF&F in NY's MSG on 10/2009.

  • @SaTrinomaNagkita thank you... i was nose bleeding, researching it again to re-confirm what was i ill said to her... and in fact i really really love charice though she's my inspiration here @ the middle-east, and being a huge fan i followed every moves she made, since 2008.... point it out of all these... i love her not just because im filipino or being proud of, it is she's a really a showcase for every individual who inspire to follow their dreams,... so i cleared it up!!!

  • 3:51 a navy carrying a video camera ahah cute

  • she's excellent live singer

  • v=eeVle5oSzYc

  • Here is a video of her 9/11/11 SSB performance that is the best so far as of this posting. The video is clear and crisp, audio- and video-wise.

    watch?v=05YSWlsT4HU

  • Listen up ABS-CBN , this is about the Heroes and innocent victims of 9/11. That's why there is a verse in the SSB about the "home of the brave" and not cowards like your swat team that tried to take that bus!!!!

  • This Particular Moment is not about Football , Its about paying TRIBUTE to American Heroes and Victims of 9/11. Shame on those Who never understood the EVENT. GREAT JOB CHARICE!

  • I swear to god , some of you mother fuckers are some hard up jealous sons of bitches. I wouldn't be surprised if you morons are somehow, someway, affiliated with ABS or the Philippine entertainment industry in general.

  • This is her lower version of GBS and I love it too. For other people who don't like this, well you have a choice. You can watch her higher version of GBS.

  • im proud to a Filipino because of charice. to those Filipinos who can't and won't appreciate her please stop commenting bad comments about her. this is we Filipinos do not get d progress we all wanted and its because of our crab mentality. grow up and be mature. i love charice!!

  • @nippygurlie You're patriotic for your country because of a celebrity? Talaga? Ganyan ba? >.>

Anyways, Charice is just amazing and superb.

  • @josefopeda Nothing patriotic with what @nippygurlie. Read it again.

She is relating a sad, true fact about your country. Charice who is originally from the Philippines puts her country on the map, so to speak. Naturally, it brings pride and honor to her fellow Filipinos. Where's being patriotic there? Look up it's definition.

  • @josefopeda and so? what's wrong about that? do not question my opinion and my feelings because you have no right to do so.. Please read my comment thoroughly and if you are bothered with iit, its not my problem.. Take a chill pill!.. -END OF STORY-

  • chills.. chills.. chills...

  • doesnt matter if she's an american or not, land of the free right? free for all?

    hahaha

  • great!!

  • She's not even american?!!

  • @YeahSquishyYeah Josh Groban (Canadian) Sang the SSB in a NCAA Football game a few years back.

  • @YeahSquishyYeah Charice was invited by the organizers (who are americans) to sing at the game. Josh Groban and Celine Dion (both Canadians) have done so in the past. I'm an American and proud that a vocal talent such as Charice got to sing our national anthem and patriotric song on a 911 commemoration game. She didn't mess up the lyrics like American artist Christina Aquilera.

  • @YeahSquishyYeah You're not even American to say what you said. Christina Aguilera, who's very much an American, flubbed it. Cyndi Lauper who's British but is probably a naturalized US citizen messed-it up. As long as you can sing it, that's not a problem. The best thing is the US military and the NFL organization chose Charice. What's more amazing than that?

  • who is that?

  • To other Filipinos who are not a fan of Charice and are jealous of her, stop your shameful hurtful words towards her! Shame on you! I said other and not all Filipinos! I'm a fan from USA! Again, shame on you!!!

  • @7ardee its good hearing it from you, Charice is such a talented singer and am proud of her, GOD BLESS AMERICA.!!!!! and PHILIPPINES AS WELL.

  • Beautiful "Charice" awesome as always! A true pure raw talent! A humble spirit! What a power to concentrate and deliver an awesome performance! Unbelievable power and what an awesome beautiful voice! You are the best choice to sing God Bless America!

  • There are a lot of talented singers in their nation, why they chose her? I think you can answer that. :D I guess powerful people knows real talent.

  • @nicegoodspeed1 Not only that, two (2) songs were assigned to Charice, why 2 songs? where are the product of american idol, american music award, US billboard, etc. Charice was just too reliable and super talented, she did not fail the event, it was a superb performance.

  • @tagaglan There was no sarcasm involved in my post.

I said it plainly as daylight in reaction to your post. Again, you misunderstood the stats. It said IN Canada, that is how this video is viewed by the viewers. The stat map says US is greener than Canada, meaning, this video is popular in the US than in Canada. Enough said.

  • @tagaglan Are you sure you are working for the Department of Education. I will be quiet if I were you, seems to be you are becoming an embarrassment to them. Leave Charice she is just great, and she will be a legend.

  • i've read somewhere, the parachute landed just behind charice, did you see those personnel, pulling that parachute. Tha't why they keep on looking above, and the crowd are cheering, a big event.

  • it's a great honor to sing the powerful anthem.

  • @tagaglan Please air your dirty laundry somewhere.

  • labyo cha

  • phenomenal singer indeed

  • Woooohoooo!!!! Chamazing as ALWAYS!!

  • Charice voice is so lovely, pure and so amazing to listen to. Her performance of GBA is just amazing.

  • God bless America and Charice for her courage and composure in competing with the simultaneous activities and noise from the crowd. If you can concentrate and try to isolate the loud and obtrusive noise of the football fans, you will realize that Charice gave an appropriate, very commendable, heartfelt and stirring rendition of the song.

  • Those media people who were so close to her and were looking on something else were probably kicking themselves for not "focusing" and "recording" Charice. What a wasted golden opportunity to record Charices' singing GBA upfront!!

  • @hermiemel yes i agree ha ha they're looking for something,,,,when in fact there's a legent infront of them....

  • Simply flawlessly !!! ...and she´s gorgeous...

  • God Bless Charice awesome love u from Canada

  • She did Awesome !

  • she looks much more grown-up here.. dalagang-dalaga na talaga kumilos si @Charice dito..

  • Charice is really amazing, even though she said that she was so nervous and was shaking during and after singing this, her performance is still AMAZING GEACE given by God. More power and more to go Charice. I hope to see you in Grammy...

  • 6:23, look at that, sign of relief of a tough job.

  • distracted of so many activities around,

  • ok folks, the tune is lowered, the purpose so people can sing with her, without struggle, to cope.

  • she twitted, she's shaking and has tears of joy aftter the performance. souls touch her, God bless to them.

  • goozebump, from the beginning to the end, the crowd burst out their feeling, who can forget?

  • This Used to be the Anthem of the Philippines as well from 1918 to 1935 when the Spanish language Philippine National Anthem of 1898 was outlawed by the United States. It is the official National anthem in the Islands with the English language Philippine National Anthem of 19 was instituted by the USA and was sung until 1946

  • @AznWorldMusicLegend I think you were speaking of "Star Spangled Banner". This is a patriotic song, not a national anthem.

  • Yup, it was a high 91 degrees F that day. I was there. Charice was at the end zone when she sang the Star Spangled Banner and at the West side of the football field when she sang God Bless America. Folks, you have to remember that this is a sporting event and an event honoring those who died and survived the 9/11 tragedy. The crowd sure did become emotional and patriotic that day. It's already a big deal that Charice has been invited to sing and did very well.

  • @GQ5577, i stood to be corrected

  • She must have felt like David Spade trying to sing through the applause. But great job, Charice.

  • @tagaglan You misread the YT stats for this video. It says IN Canada it's #20 most discussed. Also, look at the world man in the stats, the US is greener. Sigh... No wonder the PH is behind in reading comprehension in Southeast Asia. There is a world ranking of universities & colleges and the PH's top school got in the top 200. The rest never made it.

  • thank you for sharing the video hopefully this is just the beginning, she gets invited more to sing the anthem again

  • what an honor, they choose charice to sing the the anthem of the most powerful state.
