Snipes was real badass and perfect as Blade, even though the original comic book Blade was British. I was surprised to learn that Blade was a Marvel comics character. Can you imagine Snipes' Blade working together Jackman's Wolverine or Garfield's Spider-Man in a crossover movie (of course, not gonna happen)? Actually, Morbius the Living Vampire, former enemy of Spider-Man, turned Blade into the Daywalker in the comic book.

The original is a classic as well but very different feel... more 80s electro, this is more like banging acid techno remix. Pretty much impossible to recognize the old version in the 'reconstruction' though ;)
