inversions are where the poi swing through the inside part of ur arm so imbetween ur arm and body, also they are inverted because when u switch where the poi go in relation to ur arms and body it can make them go in the opposite direction, sorry i find these kinds of concepts very hard to explain in writing

butterfly is a poi technique where the poi cross in opposite directions. the two beat version iis basic, yet troublesome, what this guy is doing is art. truly beautiful...
...and much more difficult than a butterfly kick (i do both so you are going to have to trust me on this brother)
