Talk to your song leader. I lead in a church that sings songs like this almost exclusively, as we never listened to the sirens that called many churches into abandoning the old hymns so they could support the Christian Entertainment Industry. It seems to me that some churches are starting to wake up and realize that worship and entertainment are not the same thing. They are therefore returning to the older hymns that have been the companion of the saints for centuries.

I'm a member of a modern, vibrant, Pentecostal Church, but grew up with songs like this. Still good.

It is good to see churches that still sing the "good music". Worship shouldn't sound like a rock concert. :)

So good to see a church that still sings some of the good old gospes hymns. I wish our chuch sang a lot more of them.
