He was leaving a hotel. You need to respect the fact that he wasn't going to stop and give an interview to a passerby with a camera when he's not working the campaign trail. He answered when you said "good afternoon" because it's polite. He doesn't need to answer political questions off the clock. In other videos he openly addresses your question. He's not hiding it, he just had other places to be.
